Great tip. You gotta check out the usb rechargeable aerators. They are awesome. Some come with solar panel recharger. One charge last hours.. that’s how I kept my live shrimp alive for an 8 hr trip
For 8 bucks at walmart you can buy a aerator for fish tanks that plug into the wall. Which is cheaper than buying Batteries for the portable ones. Also for 20 bucks buy a cheap 10 to 20 gallon tank they will keep for days that way if you bring home a few buckets of water that they came from.
Good info, Nick! Maybe do a video about catching live bait from the yak! I have to do that my next trip out since I come in from further out. Otherwise, it’s frozen herring for me! 😂

Good suggestions - Are you catching topsmelt in your video? Are they plentiful in SF Bay? How do you tell difference between topsmelt vs. jacksmelt?
Jacksmelt
Thanks for the info!!!
Cool video Nick.
So how are there any regulations on using a cast net from a boat in sf bay? I enjoy your videos. Thanks.
It isn’t suppose to be over 36” in California for a cast net
Is there certain times of tides that are better? Incoming, outing?
Depends on the spot but any tide can work

Sometimes it's easier to do it from shore! If I get a chance to I'll film it!
Anyhow, Nick. Swimbait, buddy.
