Game of Thrones - Bran Stark - Brilliant Scenes
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 чер 2012
- Part of Brandon Stark's storyline told through a couple of the in my opinion most brilliant scenes of Bran. However, when making a "highlight" video of Game of Thrones we all know that you might as well include every single scene of the series, but for practical reasons many great scenes are not included above. Besides picking out great Bran moments I have also firstly aimed for scenes that tie together neatly in a short video and show a somewhat comprehensive look into Bran's storyarc by themselves, secondly tried to only pick scenes where Bran is singlehandedly shining, or atleast in the main focus.

"famed for their archery skills, navigation and lovemaking HEHEHEEE"
"...And failed rebellions"
Dat burn
Maester luwin: Part time Maester, full time savage
"and failed rebellions."
Theon drops dead, from a burn more serious than one caused by dragon fire.
Hey
I love how Ludwin so calmly and subtly shits on the Greyjoys constantly.
lol true. He's a very loyal maester. Maesters are supposed to serve the castle but not pick sides. He's extremely loyal to the Starks.
TOTCD I'd debate he even has love for Theon. He may not like the Greyjoys, or even what Theon did, but when he takes over Winterfell he gives the boy sound advice.
eluxsus0195684 Def true. At least in the show. I totally agree.
+eluxsus0195684 The old maester is the only one I've seen so far as to honestly, accurately and faithfully serve his station and not a hidden cause, belief or House.
+eluxsus0195684 Even Cressen's motivations seemed sketchy.
The first scene is the last time Bran sees his father physically close, just this thought is tearing me up. Kudos to Isaac for amazing acting.
Not to mention, we haven't really seen them together, only just for a little bit
yea it was really touching .... :(
@@subham3734 i think ned had soft spots more for robb (being his heir) and arya (bc she reminds him of lyanna), while cat favored sansa (the most ‘tully’ of the stark children and had the beauty and grace of a lady that she wanted from a daughter) and bran (who she has the most intimate scenes with) - but reading your comment, i now think ned as well loved fathering bran because he was softer with him. i think this is also because bran and rickon had no real pressures (like living up to be heir/lord of winterfell)
It's just a TV show.
@@nocturnalrecluse1216So ?
This is why Bran is my favourite Stark. He was made disabled by his fall and he went through all the same emotions that people who have been made disabled go through, becoming angry and miserable. But eventually, he sort of got used to his disability and is now learning to make an asset of it with Bloodraven.
Three-Eyed Raven?
Three eyed crow in the books. Real name Brynden Rivers, he was a Targaryen bastard of King Aegon IV "The Unworthy", who also fathered Daemon I Blackfyre, leader of the first Blackfyre rebellion. Brynden was called "Bloodraven" due to a red birthmark, and sided with his father's trueborn son Daeron II during the rebellion, becoming Hand of the King to his nephew Aerys I, Daeron's son. He was forced to take the black before Maester Aemon went to the wall, and eventually became Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. However he disappeared on a ranging north of the Wall 13 years later. Another 47-48 years after that, Bran arrives.
Still like him?
@@PLUNG3D Yes He is my fav character
Hmm
Maester luwin is so goddamn genius I love the guy he was the best maester
iller mills Aemon was awesome too
Anthony Canzoni +1000. They were the 2 best Maester ever in the 7th Kingdom.
Qyburn is growning on me. I think he will take grand master pycelles place if Cersei has her way.
Lol what? Ever heard of Pycelle??
Pycelle has sex outside wedlock like a beta.
Lewin is celibate chad.
The actor really grew so fast
Nah, about average. During filming for S1 he was 11 years old, and made to look younger for the role. By S5 he was 16 years old. Most boys look very different between those ages.
Maester Luwyn: Lowkey Roastin' some Greyjoys
When Bran starts climbing and the music starts playing it reminded me of Assassins Creed.
+Nasir Germain
Even now (:
i love bran stark and i love the way he says 'family, duty honour'
Bran Stark is like Charles Xavier from X-Men, both are crippled and both have telepathic powers.
"When you were born, I was the one who pulled you from your mother. I placed you in her arms. From that moment, and till the moment she dies, she will love you absolutely... fiercely."
Best line delivery ever. Donald Sumpter should have won an emmy for that line alone.
Not to mention it's absolutely true. She loves her children fiercely, albeit to a fault, but fiercely nonetheless.
"... until the moment she dies she will love you, fiercely." and until the moment she gets resurrected.
Joker0002710 Even then I think. A mother's love does not just simply end. Also Bran was her favorite because he was 'sweet' and 'gentle'
Here's the excerpt:
Ned stood, and took her in his arms, and held her face close to his.
“Rickon is very young,” he said gently.
“He should stay here with you and Robb. The others I would take with me.”
“I could not bear it,” Catelyn said, trembling.
“You must,” he said.
“Sansa must wed Joffrey, that is clear now, we must give them no grounds to suspect our devotion. And it is past time that Arya learned the ways of a southron court. In a few years she will be of an age to marry too.”
Sansa would shine in the south, Catelyn thought to herself, and the gods knew that Arya needed refinement. Reluctantly, she let go of them in her heart.
But not Bran. Never Bran.
“Yes,” she said, “but please, Ned, for the love you bear me, let Bran remain here at Winterfell. He is only seven.”
“I was eight when my father sent me to foster at the Eyrie,”
Ned said.
“Ser Rodrik tells me there is bad feeling between Robb and Prince Joffrey. That is not healthy.
Bran can bridge that distance.
He is a sweet boy, quick to laugh, easy to love.
Let him grow up with the young princes, let him become their friend as Robert became mine. Our House will be the safer for it.”
He was right; Catelyn knew it. It did not make the pain any easier to bear.
Gerard Jagroo I think his point was that Lady Stoneheart is incapable of love and is filled with hatred and the need for revenge.
Oh the Feels!!! when Bran was talking about his mother
Regina Phalange he would never see her again!
Did the maester get the chain link for savagery too ?
PawnOfTheDawn ? why should he?
I shall indulge you my simple minded friend. He should be awarded the chain link for savagery because he burned Theon saying that the Iron islands has had failed rebellions. Theons home. Theons family.
These scenes were better than all of season 7 and 8 bran.
Bran: House Mormont
Luwin: Motto?
Bran: Please khaleesi, I love you
Luwin: A common saying but not the motto
"Hear me roar" - the motto of house Lannister
"..and failed rebellions." What a good burn.
"Family comes first?"
Damn.
omg I love book Bran so much and Season 1 Bran is so adorable
Zooming in on Bran, I can see how good an actor that kid was... it's a shame they decided to turn his character into a potato more dead than Kenny Mccormick
true
love both Isaac and Bran
i love the character AND the actor :p
the family duty honor part always gets me 😢
Did I tell you the forgotten tale of Bran the Climber?
Bran the Climber.
It is said he climbs a thousand times.
Be it in the snow, in the wind, in the rain, under burning sun or veil of clouds.
He could climb up anything, anywhere, anyhow, any height.
He'd climb the walls of Winterfell, the high rocks of the Iron Islands, the Wall itself all the way from the bottom of Castle Black.
To the very top of Skagos,
the Eyrie,
Hightower.
Storm's End, for Durron's Defiance
The towering ruins of Harrenhal. Casterly Rock, up the cliff above Lannisport.
The Red Keep, the Tower of the Hand, the thousand blades of Aegon's enemies
And he never falls.
GODS, HE COULD CLIMB!
"I am the one who knocks" -Lord Walter of House White
This is how I understand it. First, Bran refuses to say the Lannister words because of his subconscious link to Jaime throwing him off the tower. He is upset about his mother leaving and keeps repeating his mothers family words as to indicate that she should have known better than to leave him alone. Also Luwin did not say the words "Family, Duty, Honor" were the Lannisters, but confirmed when Bran asks him: "Is that the right order?"
Well it was more towards that Bran was angry that Catelyn left
hence he says "Family comes first?"
and then
"So why did she leave?"
Implying that he thinks Cat abandoned him despite belonging to a house where supposively family comes first.
3:10 - Look at Robb's face when Bran says that.
I think Bran "flying" is a foreshadowing that he will end up warging into a dragon, hence the glimpse of a dragon flying over kings landing in the weirwood vision he has. Dany will eventually bring her dragons to westeros and after bloodraven teaches him to master greensight and warging he will be able to control dragons. Just my thoughts, I am surprised I havn't seen this theory yet.
Yea I thought the same thing. Especially cuz they go on about how drogon is so uncontrollable, I feel like it's setting bran up
1 season left and still possible
you called it
@@Mbrebed2nd What? That did not happen you fuckboi
@@Jartran72 bran said that he could keep track on drogon in the last episode
unforgivably, monstrous what Jaime did to bran. Why can't Bran figure out who pushed him from the tower with all the powers he has?
In the books the raven in the dream told him to forget because it wasn t important for now and he needed to learn to fly
He knows in the show who did it, he just didn't care as much anymore because they needed Jaime for the upcoming fight.
It's a brilliant scene for both of them and pivotal in Bran's story for obvious reasons, to remove this scene from a video about Brans story arc would be crazy.
Back when Bran was still so pretty.
and he still is
Becoming the Raven really killed his humanity. He barely feels emotions now
I'm really glad none of bran from season 8 got mentioned this is bran in his best
Would you like some aloe vera, Theon? You just got burned.
Bran the broken first of his name lord of the 6 kingdoms and protector of the realm
Bran was such a pretty little child, until Blood Raven and Puberty got hold of him.
I think he grew up into a very beautiful model-esque man. His dorky personal style hides it but in the show I thinks he's incredibly striking
@@TaraRihana86 yeah, I'm mostly watching the show for Isaac's face at this point lol. The story itself doesn't matter anymore.
I think he has a nice face
@@happynewyear6240 4 years late but SAME GoT ended at Season 4 and I only get invested in Bran’s face 😭
Remember when the Starks were whole and happy? 😭😭😭
Only thing bran has in his future is becoming a god damn tree.
Metaphorically and literally
He seems to have difficulties thinking through about the Lannister words and he even seems to become anxious when he tries to... so he just says the words he remembers.
Most likely because of a subconscious association with his fall... remember?
Bran would make for an excellent warrior if he still had his legs hopefully he is able to walk once more with like braces or something or maybe a maester can heal him or like something magical like a Red priestess can help something I just want someone besides Jon Snow to carry on the badass sword skills along with carrying on with the tradition since all the other Starks are dead
Gotta love those simpler times with family 😭😍. But now just betrayal and backstabbing
All hail Bran The Broken!
Poor bran. He has a shit storm coming his way
did anyone noticed that Theon always put a marksman 10 for his archery? He was a genius archer!
It was an important scene and it was done well.
Isaac did fantastically in it.
So why can't it be called brilliant?
Bran how many times have I told ye that climbing only leads to finding brothers doing their sisters.
should've listened to your dire wolf and not climbed :( I love how the direwolves adore the starks
Warg into a dragon and then everyone will be a cripple to Bran
Hands down best child actors in this show
3:05 Savage mode activated!!
i think jaime will play his part in war with others, as when bran finally remembrs who pushed him, crow speaks to him and wants bran to forget about jaimes pushing. obviously it was brynden rivers. martin hass more bigger plans on jaime as well.
The boy's so good at climbing, if he wasn't crippled by that man, maybe he'll be like those Assassins from Assassin's creed or 007 of Winterfell.
I like Bran, he is in my top 3 favorites.
And he is kings of six kingdom, first of his name😂
The sigil is of house baratheon is a crowned stag even before robert became a king. Because their line of descent is from the storm kings
+Prodigy Incorrect. The Storm Kings of House Durrandon used a stag without a crown and when Orys Baratheon took over he kept it as such. Only later did Robert add the crown.
KarstenOkk no, idiot. house baratheon sigil always has a crown
KarstenOkk proof is on the book A Game of Thrones
+KarstenOkk
When Aegon Targaryen had landed in Westeros, he had sent his bastard brother and Orys Baratheon to subdue and conquer the Stormlands. The Stormlands at the time was a sovereign kingdom ruled by House Durrendon, whose sigil was a crowned stag. When Orys had defeated and conquered them, he was granted rule over the Stormlands as a reward, and he also chose to adopt House Durrendon's sigil, words and married the very last Durrendon female.
-So Prodigy is correct.
Canadian Muffin thanks for backing me up
Man, just look at this scene and you'll realise how incredible Jaime's character development was.
Luwin: (taps his stick)
Bran: Bear Island
Luwin: Lords?
Bran: House Mormont
Luwin: Words?
Bran: I love you Khaleesi
Luwin: A common saying but not their official motto
Underrated even after 3 years
Unbowed, unbent, unbroken!! Here! Here!!
All hail bran the fucking broken
Hear Me Roar!!!
And this how Theon protect Brand from NK
posted on my birthday! niice ^_^
bran used to be so cute
Bran and Ned
I wish they made the crow speak in his dreams and let him meet the Reeds when he did in the books
Bran was soooo good in the early seasons 😭
thank you!
“…And failed rebellions” Yoooooo Maester Lewin throwin’ some shade!
brAn ThE BroKEn
Bran doesnt need a horse anymore......all he needs is a tree to hang on too and controll the woods and all the animals combined :)
Good point, only way he'd bend the knee to the Iron Throne is if it's Stannis sitting on it. For that to happen the Lannisters & possibly also the Tyrells would have to get a major arsekicking & seeing as they're one of them is the richest and the other has the biggest army in the seven kingdoms that would take a lot.
Am I reading too much into that Dothraki comment from Maester Luwin? It seemed so random...
It wasn't random at all. Bran was upset that he'd never get to shoot arrows again. Maester Luwin simply told him the fact that 4 year old Dothraki kids learn to shoot arrows on horseback to lift his spirits
I agree. It confirms my theory that the Dothraki are really white walkers in disguise. They control everyone through mind control, and steer events so that the white walker invasion is inevitable. Some people laugh at this theory, but wait and see. You will be laughing no more when the invasion happens, proving my theory once and for all.
Wait. What the fuck? Is this a joke? The Dothraki are white walkers in disguise? But then they control everyone through mind control to steer events to make...their own invasion of Westeros inevitable? Why would one need mind control to make their own invasion inevitable? They don't need mind control to invade...? And how is that any intelligent use of mind control? And then, how does an invasion by the white walkers prove this theory true? We already know the white walkers are invading... yeah you must be joking. I like deadpan sarcasm but you might have gone overboard on this, considering its online and some people are dumb enough to actually make comments like this and are serious about them.
ngl i thought greyjoy/iron islands words were “what is dead may never die”
What if he's cripple! I want him to be Dragon Rider one day
And then everyone will see how amazing he is! and will never laugh or tease him for his crippleness
you, sir, are a genius.
rpgmaster947 She wouldn't tolerate Stannis making Bran his heir, but she wouldn't object to him putting the Starks back in their historic role as Wardens of the North.
😟😢 Bran was so young then.
Batman with the mobility of Professor X
What a great King Bran would make...
In order to be warden of the north he'll have to bend the knee to the iron throne. Better idea to be king in the north
I wanna see this show so damn bad!
wtf i didnt remember that robb scene with him lol
I like this video!
I love him!!
*Watches season 8*
Look at how they butchered my boy
how? bran rose higher than anyone expected
I will never forgive Jamie for what he did to Bran
what if bran is able to warg into the ice dragon and turn the events of the battle between the living and the dead.just a thought wheezing through my brain like an arrow in the dark.
Bran getting pushed off the window belongs under "Jaime Lannisters Brilliant Scenes"
The Kingslayer, doing what he does best
why can't Bran warg into one of them dragons and burn all the lannister scum?
Maybe a distance thing?
He will, but later!
Dragons most likely cannot be warged into.
El Diablo If it where anyone else, I'd probably agree, but this is Bran we are talking about.
(Spoilers)
I mean, he has the ability to Warg into people and is being trained by the Three Eyed Raven. While it will be difficult no doubt, I bet he could Warg into one of them.
you wont walk YOU WILL FLY
What is Alexander Bonaparte Cust doing in Winterfell?
You're thinking of the actors' performances. juve96 was thinking of the characters' actions.
i am straight but i had a crush on season 1 little brian,he is so cute
well not everyone. i also think that bran is very important and will get more powerful in books, maybe one of old gods. however jon, bran, dany and 3rd head of dragon ( maybe tyrion) are most important characters in my opinion
How I wish Bran did not climb that tower.
Tell him he had a good run before you throw him from the tower
Its all a dream!
