When I was a kid in the 50s, my parents would listen to all the great big bands, the great singers, the fabulous music...Ella was one of my mom's favorites. I grew up listening to it all too and loved it. I still do. In my humble opinion, Ella is the best female vocalist...ever.
OMG, she had the most beautifu voice. Perfect tone, range & diction. I saw her 3 times in concert in the UK many years ago & she still remains my TOP female vocalist. She could sing any song . What a great star.
