The Immacullate Collection is regarded as the gold standard of greatest hits collections. It's also the biggest selling solo greatist hits album of all time
from what I’ve read it was two things- it would have reduced the runtime available for new songs and, because the collection is sequenced chronologically, it sounded too much like La Isla Bonita.
Well, they included the video scene of Who's That Girl but didn't use the song so I guess it's all good, although it did end up on The Holiday Collection to this...and they cropped the album cover logo wrong at the end too...guess it was just a quick promo and not very important on the details.
They also used the album versions unlike the Q-Sound mixes. They used scenes from different videos, just to make the ad look more better. Also to the person below the album was already done, so if it could fit on the vinyl releases, then they wouldn't have added the video at all. They formats were already finished they were just getting people to buy it.
chrato74 the songs were remixed into QSound to sound better. The only major differences are the tempos for a lot of the songs are faster, Material Girl has an ending instead of a fade out, Into the Groove has the piano break and a new intro and the instrumental on Holiday is built up more and shortened. But other than that they don’t deviate heavily from the originals like an actual remix would. The only two songs that could count as remixes would be Like a Prayer and Express Yourself since they both use versions similar to the way they were presented on the Blond Ambition Tour instead of the originals.
@@ross1830 Holiday, Into The Groove are just edit version from You Can Dance and some of the songs have new vocal like in Papa Don't Preach and Open Your Heart. I actually like q-Sound but the only regret is, it doesn't include True Blue, Causing a Commotion and especially Who's That Girl, the song that peaked on #1 in US & UK. Big mistake.

Fun and rare commercial! I love it!
wow had this album but never saw the commercial for it!
Who's That Girl should've been in this collection. I still don't get why Madonna ignored it

I don’t think she likes the song that’s all ? Just like true blue 🥺
Cause it was the Blond Ambition era.
And maybe by including it the OST would not sell a copy’s anymore, which they would prefer to avoid.
The Best album of The world
Ciao Madonna
Wow, I just payed over $30 dollars for an LP Copy of this, Worth Every Penny!
why did they include "who's that girl" if it didn't make it to the final list? wierd

The warm compressed sound in this video is what I prefer to the cold sound of the CD.
Ragazzo dell'84 sempre che mi cerchi......

It should've been called Immaculate Remixes since every song is remixed.

not rlly remixes, just slightly edited or tweaked to sound fresh and fit Qsound
