- I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS GAME THE MOMENT I PLAYED IT. I'VE PLAYED FOR 1 IN-GAME MONTH AND DECIDED TO MAKE IT INTO A FUN SHORT LET'S PLAY SERIES. I've been playing this game a few weeks, and just got inspiration to try a challenge. I'm not gonna do any farming, except on weekends. That means no crops at all until I get a farm hand to water for me, and if the farm hand ever misses a spot or takes a holiday off I just gotta take the hit.
I'm two weeks in-game and about to do my standard Death Cake Route to Family Acquisition. (Murder the Mayor and his wife; adopt Benjamin and marry Isabella once she becomes mayor.)
I'm really enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of this time playing through, with no pressure to handle the farm chores. Just wanted to share, because Plum Grove is such a cool game with plenty of variations to try, and I just wanted to chat a bit with someone else who knows/loves this game!
WOW that sounds pretty fun! Killing off the mayor?! LOL!! I LOVE IT!!! I should have thought of that, but I just tried to marry him and then the next thing I knew he got married behind my back, so I had to switch gears and go a different way just to have kids. I will have to give that a try at some point....thanks so much for the idea!! =0)
@@DAYZEEGAMER-02 :D Yeah it works really well. You just have to live with the crippling guilt of having killed such a sweet man. But the kids aren't bothered much by it so I learn to let it go.
Oh, and having a mayor for a spouse is really great because you get a 120 coin paycheck every single day. Mayor has plenty of coins!
@@Marialla. OH! When my daughter married the mayor, and he moved in with us he handed over his money every day that was a nice set up!
I'd get over the guilt pretty quick with a nice shopping spree at the docks with a pirate LOL!
@@DAYZEEGAMER-02 Wait a minute... you said the Mayor got married? Are we talking about Quentin? Because it can't be him since he is an elder and elders never get married. I must have the timeline confused.
@@Marialla. Is that the mayors name? The old guy when you begin the game? then yeah he did. lol I'll have to see if it's on an episode I recorded, I believe it was...I'll take a look and see if it's a quick find.
