I remember one bloke who could read stormy skies, he said there's going to be hail, he said to out loud......''I've got to be quick'' he hurriedly dashed into his house came out with thick winter quilt bedding, then went to his car opening his doors & bonnet & boot, throwing the quilts over the car, then closing the doors, trapping the quilts in place, then rushing back into the house bringing out several mattresses, frantically leaning them to the sides of his car and saying ''I've got to be quick'', then back in the house, he comes out with a huge roll of string and ties one end to the tow-bar and gets running around his car fastening the mattresses in place..... One neighbour said your mad pal! He said I hope my car is saved! within minutes it started to rain followed by hail, it came down just like in this clip, the storm past and the hail stopped, he uncovered his car and it was untouched by the hail, but cars around him was hammered to death.
You have some amazing footage there . If you look at it you can see there are times when the hail looks like 4 inch cheese sticks. I don't know how you had your camera set but it turned out amazing !!
Went through a bad one a few years ago, and within days we were inundated with flyers and people stopping by trying to cash in on insurance damage. In fact a lot of them weren’t even from the area, they just roam around the country and set up shop every time a town gets hit by a hail storm.
Boy Derek, if that's your truck I would have put a big thick blanket over it. If I had it and close the doors I have to hold it in place then you would have been all set. I wouldn't have left it like that but it looks like that hails the size. It can do damage to things.

Poor truck. I had one of the same models and the hail damaged it so bad that the roof had to be replaced among other sheet metal, windshield, etc. $5200.00 in repairs. That was here in SE Ohio about the same time period, maybe the same storm. A lot of lesser value vehicle's were a total loss. The glass companies and the dent wizard loved it but the insurance companies didn't.

What a fantastic video. Thank you. I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen this.

Lots of garages claimed as storage for vehicles on insurance, but not actually used as garages - many will be disappointed on claiming.
Never saw a hail storm where the hail came down for this long.
I recognize that garage and street! I used to live there!
Yo I live right outside of grafton and the storm tore our porch off but where in town are you at by maple avenue or past Walmart

Why would you leave your vehicle outside??
Dude! Epic I live in Weston and I was chasing today. Glad I did not drive up there. Cars trashed I've seen pic of.
Camera man: 🥃😀🎥
