I’m glad you enjoyed it! There’s a lot of great piano music out there and this Franck piece is a masterpiece in my opinion. I’m not sure that I have all that much music in my head at any time - need to keep reworking pieces to remind oneself otherwise they get tend to get pushed out when learning something new 🤔 Thanks again for all your support 😊 🙏 🎶
Beautiful! I haven’t heard this prelude and fugue yet, the prelude seems to be fun with all that hands crossing 😊 And the strong fugue is really cool, I think I have to get the sheet 😁 Awesomely played, my friend 👏🏻
Thank you, my friend! Yes - it’s a great piece - I sometimes play the middle section on its own (just the Chorale) and find it makes a cool piece in its own right - and you get to do all the fun hand crossing stuff without stressing about the tricky bits in the fugue. But certainly worth learning the whole thing - I love the cyclic structure with the Chorale theme coming back at the end on top of the fugue subject, as well as the prelude accompaniment all played at the same time!
Thanks! I agree with you about the VST - takes a bit of time to get used to and the sound doesn’t feel as responsive when you’re playing, but now I’m starting to really like it…
I know this video was from a long time ago, but do you remember what preset you were using for this? This is dialed in really well for some room sound without being overbearing.
@@Tozen-b4l I saved the settings for this one - it’s the VSL Bosendorfer Imperial (standard), not a specific preset but I used the following mic settings: room mix 1/4, condenser 3/4, mid 1 1/2, main 1/2, main-C 1/2
Okay, now I have to subscribe
How much great music do you have in your head? Today's selection is just as amazing, not to mention the performance. Thanks for the great music!

took me a while but this piece has really grown on me, awesome performance and visuals are even more interesting now
Thanks so much for you message! This piece took me a while too, but there’s so much to it and you keep discovering more depths the more you play it.
this is great, really didn't know about this composer, thanks for the music
I’m glad you liked it. Franck wrote some great music - the violin sonata is superb with a tricky 2nd movement for pianists 🤔

Another famously difficult piece. I really like the VST, sounds a lot better in my opinion!
