Great performance! I've been looking for a video like this to see if this is within my piano abilities haha Edit: after watching the first movement I think I'll start with Prokofiev's ninth, some of that looked pretty insane lol
@@manzoh2248 Thanks!! That 1st movement is really tricky, especially after long accelerando in the middle - I’m still struggling with that section but it’s a great sonata to play. The 9th sonata might be a bit easier technically and the music is amazing too
@@PriceLesS-nf1zd I'd be interested in seeing a performance of one of Prokofiev's earlier sonatas. Nos. 1 and 3 are just one movement, and I absolutely love both!
@@PriceLesS-nf1zd I've learned No. 3 and No. 2 movement 4. Not terribly hard but still fairly difficult. I tend to prefer them (including No. 1, which is more Romantic) to the very modern No. 7.
Thank you !!🙏 😊 🎶 I didn’t know the Mereaux piece - sounds very difficult. I don’t really take requests because my choices of videos tend to correspond to how I’m feeling at that particular moment. But I’ll certainly have a look at your two suggestions…
Well, this was so ambitious!! Excellent performance 😄👏🏻
Thank you my friend!! 😊 🙏 🎶

Great performance!😊 what are you planning next?
@@YannickStreibert Thank you! 😊 🙏 🎶 I’m not sure - I’ll be busy for the next couple of months so maybe nothing too ambitious…
