- Frédéric Chopin - Barcarolle in F sharp major op 60
So here’s another late Chopin piece - the Barcarolle with it’s lilting melodies and fascinating harmonies which inspired later generations of composers…
Recorded on a Yamaha U3 Silent Piano using the superb VSL Yamaha CFX:

Very good interpretation ! Could you play Schubert's Serenade arranged by Liszt please ? It’s magnificent music and I really want to discover your interpretation !
Thank you!! 🙏 😊 🎶 that’s a great idea to do the Schubert/Liszt Serenade - I’ve got a few more pieces to do first but I’ll put it on my list 😊
Thanks for being the first synthesia pianist to upload my most favorite piano piece ❤ sounds heavenly

Indeed a priceless channel
Thank you!! 😊 🙏 🎶
"Priceless", indeed. Great interpretation.
Thank you very much!! 😊 🙏 🎶
This is so great! Almost a perfect recording. The only complaint, which is most likely just a case of personal preference, is that the piece got a bit too loud too fast towards the end.
Thank you so much for your comment 🙏 😊 🎶
I agree with you about the end - must have got a bit carried away!
well done!
Thank you!!
1:57 Excuse me?
S'il te plaît, continues de poster. La notoriété viendra à un moment donné j'en suis sûr.
Merci beaucoup pour ta confiance 🙏 😊 🎶 je vais continuer de poster, bien sûr!
wow i just discovered this piece from your channel and it was amazing i would love to see your interpretation of chopins nocturne op 62 no 2 or op 55 no 2
Thank you so much for your comment! 😊 🙏 🎶
I’d love to record some Chopin nocturnes one of these days - thanks for the suggestion
@@PriceLesS-nf1zd yes that would be great! ive never seen any synthesia performer ever play his op 62 no 2 nocturne
@@infinityx5510 Thanks - I may well do that one soon then!
I rarely comment on UA-cam videos, but I had to say it - wonderfully played! Quick little question - have you taken inspiration from Dinu Lipatti's rendition? I simply adore him and his playing & your interpretation is the closest thing to his recording that I've found here on YT. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for your comments 🙏 😊 🎶
I love Lipatti’s playing too and never tire of his Chopin recordings, so I take it as a great compliment if any part of my interpretation reminded you of this legendary musician.
Thanks again for your encouragement!
Rachaminoff elegie 0:49
👍
Can you please play rachmaninoff melodie op 3 no 3?
Surprisingly, no one played it in this format, it's such a beautiful piece!
Thanks!
Thanks - that’s a great idea! I love playing Rachmaninoff so I’ll have a look at the melodie
Wow 🙏 can you give me advice for the trills at 1:51? Thank you 😊
Thank you!! 😊 🙏 🎶
Yes, those trills in 3rds aren’t very easy - the fingering I prefer is 2&3 1&4. Then you just have to keep everything supple and relaxed (wrist especially). The thing is not to seize up, so a bit of movement helps too. Hope that’s helpful
@@PriceLesS-nf1zd thank you so much! Could you share a couple of excercise to build speed? Thanks 🙏
@@Jdi-em3uj I find it works quite well practising with dotted rhythms (long-short all the way through a fast passage then short-long), then doing duplets, triplets etc. accentuating the first of each. But for me the most important thing is to keep completely relaxed, supple and a loose wrist, and almost feel like you’re shaking the trills out. Hope that works for you
@@PriceLesS-nf1zd I will give it a try! Amazing skill!
@@Jdi-em3uj Thank you!! Good luck with those trills!
