It was a joy watching you do this car, as a collision shop and restoration shop owner for well over 40 years you abilities do fabricate pretty much anything on the fly is really impressive ! I enjoy just how you’re able to draw the line in all your builds to where your doing it for yourself. I am grateful and appreciate you sharing these builds with all of us. Thanks !!
I have not seen that coupe in 47yrs. I even got my drivers liscence in it! I hit a pole in the winter of 1970. My father took the car on a trade for me on a 1961 MGA twin cam. Looking at all the old iron you have. A good trick to preserve it is, squirt drain oil in the bottom of all the panels, doors, hood, and trunks etc. Let it drip out its dirty for awhile but here in Minnesota I've drove my 2004 Toyota for 300.000 miles no rust!
I love your totally relaxed attitude to chopping a car roof! I'm sittin here freakin out, staring at my '50 Studebaker truck. All the "what if" scenerios playin out. And then there is you goin "lets chop this outa there and see what happens"! Oh yeah, this truck is an absolute rust bucket! Hell... 2 inches of one door at the bottom is just gone! There was zero floor when I got it. Anyway ive been inspired by your videos. Keep up the great work!
haha thanks, and your truck sounds neat, although rust sucks at least you can make what you want with it theres nothing there so you can't possibly make it wrong haha
This is my second time watching this video. It's like your truck with two rows of seats. It is not a transformation but a metamorphosis. You are an artist.
Had no idea that this project was the beginning of your UA-cam experience!!! You do the videos so effortlessly, it’s like you are a natural at anything that you attempt!!
You've reconstructed and rejuvenated the legendary 1938 Pontiac. I've spent 1 hour for this beautiful car and I did really appreciated your hard work from Thailand. Cheers !!!
Wow, I just spent three years of my life restoring a 1966 Ford F100 and this gentleman makes it look way too easy. Definitely showing his talents in many different areas of the restoration. Nice work!
So YOU'RE the one responsible for all those crop circles! Here we were blaming those poor aliens the whole time! Seriously - she's a work of art, my friend. Beautiful job.
It's crazy to watch all those episodes mashed together. You worked so hard on this car and it turned out beautiful. Hard to realize all the work you did. It was one of my favorites of your builds to watch. Enjoy it, hard work has payed off!
Wow? You da man bro. Bodywork, fabricating, painting, welding, upholstery. U did it all. Unbelievable. Congrats and thanks for sharing it with us wannabes.

I'm glad you started your UA-cam channel. I love the metal work you do as a sheet metal worker myself I enjoy seeing you proceed through the builds and come up with such awesome finished vehicles. Looking forward to the next one.
I love the fact that, after spending so many sweat equity hours on that thing, that you took it out into a field and did donuts until you tired of it. Beautiful ride, was fun to watch the build. Thank you!
Hi there! Just today I found your channel and man do I love it! I love this build. I like the way you make your videos. Very encouraging to see one man accomplish so much great work! Thank you sir! You are an encouragement!
I grew up on a farm in Oak Bank Manitoba. The final scene in your video just really hit home. I was back in my 53 Meteor tearing up the field . No insurance, no license, and no cares !! Thanks for the memories !
How does anybody get to this point when you can build something so beautiful pretty much from scratch. That is amazing. Great job. Car came out fantastic. You have a great talent. I would consider this an art.
Man..... this might be the most incredible restoration i've ever watched....... the transformation of a complete junker to a priceless antique........ this is a moment of RESPECT!!!!😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮👍❤️
My God you are a maniac, so much work so fast and the car looks nice to boot. Quite the talent there. Just finished the whole video and yes you are a maniac. I am so danmed impressed, One man. One driven man did every possible thing the frame, chassis, mounts, body, chopped, metal work, body work, interior, drive line, Its so damn amazing. Every high school car nut needs to see this. I started a 47 Chevy Coupe in 64 but never finished it. I blew up the Olds V8 and was so depressed and my Dad forbid me from working on it anymore. He was a good Dad, but he had no idea what or why we do cars till we drop. I saw your hands and arms near the end cuts, scabs, bruises, hell yes that is what car guys do. Now I have to go back and see ALL 43 videos. Smart move to make this compressed video, it sets the hook deep. If you could estimate the cost of such a project what would it take for you to do another one very similar. Dennis in Virginia
Does everything himself, very impressive. Most guys send out for seats, send out for paint, etc. and install everything when it comes back. Anybody can do that. You send nothing out, I'm impressed.
What a beautiful machine it's a very rare talent that can envision the finished product in its most raw form. For somebody who keeps claiming they don't know what they're doing you do incredible work.
Good morning.. it’s a wonderful thing watching an artist transform a relic into Art Deco. So many skills, talents, and efforts melted into a classic... Thanks for the treat....James
Hard work and determination has brought the car with some modern technology but the overall classic outlook gives one a sense nostalgia mingled with quixotism , I love this , keep it up , well done.
Just found your site , through DD . Boy glad I did. Really enjoy your video with the metal fab on your 38 Pontiac. Gets me so itchy to look for a project together me back in the shop. I used to build 60’s era Fords . It’s been a few years after my late wife passed, and now ready to find a project. Something early 30’s, 40’s , or 50’s . Put my tools back to work. Keep up your great videos . !
Ya this build was my introduction to your channel. You are, as far as I'm concerned, the master of the subtle chop. You don't lose headroom and make things more aerodynamic. Love the Dodge chop [my current fave] but I love this Poncho with the Torpedo headlights. Fantastic stuff!
The hot rodder side of me is screaming hell yes. The certified body tech side of me is weeping alittle. End of the day still a killer project and I love when people actually build their rods instead of buying them, good work.
Fantastic build, mate. I especially loved seeing the doughnuts....er....testing done in the field and watching you at work with fabrication and bodywork. The old girl has come up a treat - She looks graceful and like she'd be a very comfy cruiser. Great stuff!

No complicated long boring details and OCD about the right or wrong way to do something etc. This stitch and patch project was truly satisfying to watch, even the music is enjoyable. And respect to you for doing this alone. Thought you would add a bit of tan to the interior to compliment the tan trimmings on the exterior.I hope you have more content like this, or I’ll be very upset 😓😅. Anyway great job sir. PS... meh, it is what it is 🤣
what good memories ...I started following your channel just when you installed the camaro front axle on the Pontiac! Nice summary of the various stages of construction!

Of course, LOL! Especially where he covers sheets of metal. Not to mention that the original metal that is covered is not protected against rust. He should remove the original sheet metal and replace it with a new one, not overlap the original. Really Awesome. Yeah Right. LOL. That car is gonna have rust problems in few years again.
Wow. That's an amazing transformation. I think that 38 Pontiac deserves to go to the next level. Have the paint clear coated and send the grille out to be replated. Then let a professional upholstery shop do a custom interior. You did an amazing job, but the potential for that car with its striking body lines is worth the extra investment.
From the Netherlands I give you a very, very big compliment!!! That car is a real beauty...you must have golden hands. Respect! If you ever think of selling this Pontiac, please let me know. Again, respect, and greetings. Peter Deddens.
This was a great build. One of my favorites. I like it on air suspension but I can completely understand removing them. Nevertheless this is a great build.
Man bud, you are a MASTER with sheet metal! This thing is an absolute work of art. I don't think that I've EVER seen one man that has so many talents. You really outdid yourself on this one bud!
Pontiac wished they had designed this beautiful coupe. This fella is not precious about anything. He just jumps in and gets it done.
Beautiful lines.. The best I've ever seen. Probably sold by now.
How can anyone so talented be so humble? You have an amazing work ethic and deserve any success that comes your way.
