I can smell the fields and feel the cool summer breeze…..perfect!
I bought a 31 Victoria this year and now want a model T they look like fun.
Just loved the ride in the Ford Phaeton. Being in covid lock down here, with no travel beyond 10 kilometers of the house, travelling along those roads through such beautiful countryside -even in fake time- was a real treat. Love your work. Greetings from Australia.

New sub just found your channel.. I’ll definitely be staying around.. saw grandpa’s truck and this one and I’m hooked.
good job
Beautiful car !
Don’t let JB see you driving around in defiance of his “no travel” edict.
Greetings from Brazil. I have a 1929 Ford Phaeton.
So that 3rd gear is really tall huh?
I watched this earlier on TV when I was under a tornado warning here in the middle of Illinois.
My phaeton is a deluxe 2-dr, sort of early 1931. It's in that little picture over there and a short 12 sec video is on my page.
I'd rather have a Model A engine. But I looked for over 60 years for it. It has a 260 Falcon V-8 and 4-speed. Everything else is almost original except the 46-48 brakes and F-1 steering. Cruises well at 60 MPH which amazes me with the Model A steering and suspension.
That's an awesome car you have!
@@tightwadproductions961 Thank you. I bought it just like that. My wife and I wanted a stock Model A phaeton.
Sorta bittersweet. I found this one up in Michigan while trying to forget how lonely I am after my wife passed.
My granddaughter and I named her MsDollie after my wife so she rides with me.

That's the same color as my 27 Chevy exactly
It's a great color
When you start a Model A or Model T, You pull the spark lever down all the way. For the driving you were doing, there would have been no need to touch the lever. The spark could have been fully advanced the whole time. Beautiful car
Did you figure out the misfire?
Very nice car I love it but you should not be driving it you are going to ruining it you do not double clutch it ! You drive it with timing for advanced , you would get a lot more power if you know what you were doing. Please have somebody show you how to drive a mile a
Where is this?
Southern Illinois
@@tightwadproductions961 I figured it was somewhere like that. I'm in Southern Indiana and it looks a lot like there over here, lol. :)
You are not double de clutching so you are not synchronising the gears hence the grate every time you shift . The lever on the left is advance/retard it should be down when the engine is running it will have more power and run cooler . Nice car I have the same one here in England .
John
Should you be advancing spark level ?
Yes, dad was advancing and retarding the ignition timing as he was driving.
