definitely the best show i’ve ever seen. wish it had gone on longer but it was based on true events. such an interesting story and left so many questions
So true, I hoped that the doctor would have helped her and then let her fell in love like it should be, instead he just did show that society was too corrupted at that time for spontaneity and honesty

How i wish we could see more of Grace and Dr.Jordan but unfortunately there will be no sequel as it was based on true events. They’re definitely the best couple we never had.
Grace’s story was based on true events, but Margret Atwood (the author of the novel the miniseries was based off) added Dr. Jordan into her retelling of the story. He was not a real person, unlike Grace. Though I totally agree with you about wishing to see more
In some way Grace had seduced him, and he fell in love with her, maybe didn't ask her to married him because he realized that she was guilty.
Anyway I'm not sure if Grace manipulated the doctor for surviving or if she fell in love with him too.
I didn't see the Netflix series mi but in the book Jordan is quite an unpleasant character. Misogynistic, selfish and coward, he tries to take advantage of every situation he is in but runs away when he is asked to be accountable. He is not described as an handsome man either.
There was this tiny string of hope that I kept holding on to that maybe, MAYBE it is not too late and Grace would appear in Simon’s house during that painful last episode but no they chose to break our hearts 🥺

But, again despite the scenes being few, each of their encounters were so powerful, especially the way Dr. Jordan kept looking at Grace! I wish someone looked at me like that! ❤️❤️

well it's based off of the true story! It's terrifying and devastating. They just spruced up a romantic connection with the doctor and the criminal.

I started watching this 2 weeks ago because YT decided to recommend your video to me (thank goodness). I finished it in a few days only, and two weeks later, I’m still not over this show and this pairing! Are there any Netflix shows and couples like these two? So the woman, grace marks, is in jail for killing the husband and wife that she worked for as a maid. And the people in that town believe that she isn’t as evil as the media say so they hired this doctor to evaluate her and see if she did it or not

I think he didnt want to be like the other forceful men that had been in her life. So he tried to maintain the illusion to her of the dr, patient relationship.
I think he got frustrated when he found out that she actually is a murder, maybe he had some pure idea of her and after that hypnotize scene he saw that he was disillusioned

This was a beautiful film. Dr Jordan and Grace seemed made for each other, but alas ... The choice of music for this video was perfect but may I suggest that next time you don't add any writing to the scenes. It distracts from the video image because the eye instinctively goes to read the words, when I for one would rather be looking at Dr Jordan and Grace. Also the words aren't necessary because the song is quite clear. Any chance you can do a re-edit without the words on the screen?

Can anybody tell me that why Dr. Simon left her...?? He thought she was guilty or mental patient...??? Why he becomes sick in the end...??? he fell in love with her or feel guilty not to helped her to be released...??
It's been quite a long time since I watched this series, but if my memory is correct, then Dr. Jordan went off to war after feeling frustrated and disillusioned by Grace's case. He sustained a devastating injury during a battle which rendered him unable to speak or be in control of his own body. Basically, what we would call a traumatic brain injury. He has become a prisoner of his own body and its limitations. Heartbreaking to say the least.
