Despite the fact that it is set against an emotional, well chosen song, I would prefer to hear John SAY those intense words with feeling, passion and conviction.

Why is the "I love her" scene covered with the song??? That is the greatest line in the film!

Iris... I've watched this movie several times. I can't believe how superb the acting is, and by EVERYONE. Down to tje smallest of parts: the coach driver, not a word but his expressions! The maid, the aunt, everyone was almost perfect. It didnt seem like acting. Realkt, really good. One of my alltime favourite movie
@@commess1 I've seen this movie multiple times as well because it moves me so much. It's a movie with a topic that even these days, seems familiar. You see a woman of colour who doesn't know where she belongs, who doesn't has anything to say because she's a woman and because she has another origin. In my opinion a lot of things have changed over the past decades, but societies can still learn a lot about these topics. I hope that everyone will be treated equally in the near future.
