  • This is a fast and easy crochet blanket that features a gorgeous 3D stitch.
    Written pattern here: crochetdreamz.com/crochet-afg...
    If you enjoy easy crochet patterns, you will love this crochet baby blanket. The texture is far easier to work than it looks.
    The crochet stitch pattern is a very easy two-row repeat that you can easily memorize. You can make it as a crochet baby blanket or make one for your home. I am sure you would want to make several crochet blankets once you try it.

    Well Crystal I’m going to give your four-point poncho a shot I’ve never made anything as intricate I guess is the word I would use I am opposite of you are you a go for the big projects afghans that kind of thing I don’t know how many afghans I’ve made. Only because of you while I even attempt this poncho your tutorials are excellent and I did buy the pattern. Thank you Crystal!💕

    LOVE THIS STITCH!! It’s so complex looking, and yet so simple to remember…I love a stitch that is ‘organized’ and keeps it’s edges straight by itself, as long as you follow the pattern. I had bypassed looking at this, because I thought 3D v st meant one I usually do…fpdc around the legs, and a v inside the v…?this is so interesting and fun….thank you!

    Ty, for sharing this stitch, it is beautiful. I was wondering if it would look good using the bernat blanket yarn? I was thinking that i might have to go up a hook size and decrease the chain ⛓ stitches.

    • @crochetdreamz
      @crochetdreamz  4 роки тому

      Hi Nicole, I don't think it would work with Bernat Blanket. That yarn is so thick, simple stitches work best with it.

    Thanks for the pattern. In the written pattern, row 2 says to double crochet in the top of chain 3 ending the row. Should this be chain 2?

    • @crochetdreamz
      @crochetdreamz  4 роки тому

      It is chain 3 but if working on top of ch 2 gives you a cleaner edge, feel free to do it.

    I really like this pattern. Do you think 🤔 that it'd look as nice if I used bernat velvet yarn to make it? If not, can you please design a pattern or two using that yarn please? I make baby blankets for the expectant mothers at church and I am always looking for new patterns so they're not all the same. Thx! 😁

    • @crochetdreamz
      @crochetdreamz  3 роки тому

      I have heard people say it velvet yarn falls apart when you wash it. So I am hesitant to design many patterns with it. Here is the one I have, it is a written pattern: crochetdreamz.com/how-to-crochet-afghan/

    I love this..I have a blanket half done with a stitch very similar, but 1 row repeat…I like this better, as it gives almost a cable stitch…I love cables, but dislike cross back stitches…too fiddly…this is great!..and beautiful….thank you!…um, I can’t find your name in the comments and I can’t catch it in the video…I like to save favorite videos in folders by name…first name..please?…☺️😊❤
