I know, right!? I just wish they’d get ‘em up like an hour earlier during the week because I get up pretty early and wind up saving them for the next day. 😂
Went to the Garage with my son to get his dream gibson custom. Thought he was getting an Ebony LP but left with a custom shop 65 Firebird that Patrick helped us get. He's the best. Great people and experience!
This video is a prime example of why people love your channel. The stories. The tangents. The banter. I could listen to you two prattle on for hours whilst strumming my fave Solar guitar on my lap playing blues with the guitar volume down 😎 Cheers from NZ 😎🎸🤘
I’ve done Made To Measure “M2M” on a ‘59. 60s neck carve in believer burst. You can pick out your top without going to the garage. They send you photos of the tops.
That shell pink LP is the panty dropper! I wish I had the money for something like that to play and pass down to my sons or something like that. That thing will still be an amazing guitar in 100 years from now!
I bought an L-00 at the Gibson Garage a few years ago and had a great experience. They also only had one of the L-00 I was looking for, and 3 minutes after I started playing it, I knew I was going to buy it.
Excellent video to go with your interview with Mark Agnesi. It really does seem like Gibson have done a great job at the Garage. Now you need to do something similar showcasing the experience of selecting a Fender Custom Shop at Casino Guitars.
I played that Hummingbird, when I was in the Nashville garage, amazing guitar, if I hand't just bought my 56 P-90 Gold Top reissue that would have come home with me. Lucky guy.
I've yet to go to the Gibson Garage. Sounds like a fun trip. I did however just make another guitar safari to Carter Vintage in May to pick up a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom Silver Sparkle. Phenomenal guitar.
One thing I don't know if you guys know. But, back in late 50's, they did not have pickup wire wind counters on their pickup machines, hence the variance in tones of those classic era guitars.
I recently got a '99 vintage burst LP that had basically lived in its case in a bedroom for 25 years. Barely a mark on it, but has beautiful, mellowed feel and look, and didn't cost me Murphy Lab money!
Haven't visited Nashville, but just hit the London Gibson Garage this weekend. Didn't spec a guitar, but had a great time and finally got to try the JJN and Dave Grohl signature Epiphone models. Same deal as far as professional, friendly, knowledgeable salesmen.
They need to have option where the headstock is busted off and it's fixed with wood dowels and graphite. A lot of players say the sustain is better after somebody who knows what they are doing does the repairs
I sent them a dozen Chocolate Lovers Cupcakes from C Cups Cupcakery next door a couple days ago, but Casino is like Family to me and were doing me a Huge favor in Letting someone exchange their Guitar for One of Mine, I hope they find time to do short demo for Casino Family of my New to me, used Warrior 54 Prototype of Stratocaster
You guys are the weirdest guitar salesman ever. I don’t think I’ve seen one of your videos with any products you actually sell Absolutely mint content 😂
I think Gibson is moving in the right direction.... but they have a long way to go. They're working backwards from esthetics to functionality, so they're great with the burst options, but things like pickups are almost an afterthought it seems. You look at the customization and options available from a company like Throbak who only makes PAF style pickups and have to ask yourself "why doesn't Gibson do this?". The answer probably has something to do with the fact they sold all their legendary machines which now either Throbak or Seymour Duncan owns, so is Gibson avoiding bringing attention to the pickups knowing they can never compete with those other guys? Or is pickup winding just not very high on their priority list? Their pickups are getting better, but still seem to fall short against the competition. I feel like the PAF is the lifeblood of the burst and Gibson just hasn't figured that piece out.... if I was ordering a new Gibson I'd be planning on using throbak pickups, or Duncans, or Fralins, or Lollars... or Q pickups..... or Bareknuckle... I'd love to hear Gibson start talking about pickups in a way that makes me think they actually give a shit, the way they do about Nitro.
Ok so the Gibson Made-To-Measure is just a glorified top picker option, but can i order an alder bodied, maple necked, solid body 339 with P90 through the custom shop?
IMO I think the used price of the custom shop R8-R9-R0 are going to drop . Gibson has flooded the market with these golden era Les Pauls . I saw video of the latest guitar shows and it seemed like it was a Gibson Les Paul convention .
Interesting- I have taken my guitar to audition amps, but never and amp to audition guitars… But if you’re playing through a Bassman, I guess you kinda have to…! Now I’m planning a Nashville trip- how far is Southern Pines??? Hmmm…
So you guys were having issue having Gibsons in your shop. Seems like a sore spot that you guys wish you DID have Gibsons. Did the visit to Gibson Garage heal that problem up? And now Gibsons will flow through the Casino Guitars? Edited... Gibsons would fit well IMHO into the whole casino guitar framework. You guys sell high end guitars man.. Gibsons should be there IMHO
As much as I like the idea of a M2M, if they won't accommodate your requests for Brazilian fretboard and/or specific relicing etc. then it's no different to the Fender Mod shop - sorry buddy, you can mix and match anything on the menu but no specials. I guess dropping $8k+ doesn't buy you much these days. Did you enquire about the Crimson Division?
If Glenn Fricker was there building a Gibson guitar, how much you wanna bet that he’d smash it after he played the first note? He legitimately hates Gibson for some reason, and I genuinely think he wants to see them go down.
When a company is as big as Gibson, they deserve a different level of scrutiny. When you charge $3,000 for what has gone from a signature guitar to their main model with that price tag comes high standards and they haven’t been keeping up with that part as of late. That’s why Glenn gives them so much shit.
I'd like to spec out a 59 in every respect except paint that thing a solid colour and forego the binding. Drive the purists nuts ahaha. I'm broke so it remains an idea for now, but one day!
Mark agnesi showed uo with leather jacket with metal studs and buttons, his belt buckle, and his fist full of rings, and picked up the most expensive guitar, and ran his hands uo and down the neck, where the audbile clicking of his rings and jewelry and deuchbagery was heard by all before he sat down and rubbed his belt buckle all over it. Cant stand that dude when hes touching all them old guitars like in the gibson "collection" videos. He seems like a cool dude, part of me likes him,but he has such deuchy vibes he gives off with the things he says and does
. Take your meds Why do people play them that have 100 millions of dollars and in the biggest rock bands, play them. They don’t make hardly any money off endorsements. Plus I you look at lots of recording sessions. Some play other guitars but will record with Gibson for a reason. Like, Metallica. Gojira. Just naming a couple. I have both Gibson. Esp and PRs
You guys are the best! The Hummingbird is so incredible! I can't thank you enough!
I want a hummingbird too!
@@MatthewPeskay you won't be disappointed. Unbelievable instrument.
@@jackstow8411 And also agree that these guys are the best. Rock on!
They really are.
ALWAYS a treat to start the day with the Casino team!
Casino Guitars and a good coffee is the my favorite way to start the day.
I know, right!? I just wish they’d get ‘em up like an hour earlier during the week because I get up pretty early and wind up saving them for the next day. 😂

Awesome! Thank you for sharing the experience! Sounds like a blast! 😊

Great video! I felt like I was part of the buying processes. ✌️❤️🎸

Amazing, so interesting to hear the stories ...
Gibson garage is a great place to visit. Good food near by as well!😂 Awesome video gentleman.
Good times in guitar tourism! Cheers Casino!!
That shell pink LP is the panty dropper! I wish I had the money for something like that to play and pass down to my sons or something like that. That thing will still be an amazing guitar in 100 years from now!
they need to rename it to "Gibson Semi-Custom"
I bought an L-00 at the Gibson Garage a few years ago and had a great experience. They also only had one of the L-00 I was looking for, and 3 minutes after I started playing it, I knew I was going to buy it.
It was a great process, loved the guitar when I got it and still do.
Excellent video to go with your interview with Mark Agnesi. It really does seem like Gibson have done a great job at the Garage. Now you need to do something similar showcasing the experience of selecting a Fender Custom Shop at Casino Guitars.
Thank you as always
Thank y’all for coming by. Hope to see you again soon and bring Baxter with ya!!!!

Yeah I kinda thought it would be a luthier type tutorial as well, on a 59 LP build project ...Oh well, he means well.
I recently got a '99 vintage burst LP that had basically lived in its case in a bedroom for 25 years. Barely a mark on it, but has beautiful, mellowed feel and look, and didn't cost me Murphy Lab money!

“I’m in love”.
Said you was when I watched your first video on The Cult.
My favorite UA-cam channel.
You should totally offer to drive down there in the golf cart if they give you that LP! : )
Gibson Garage custom credit terms: 10% down and the remainder now.
Tesla and a Les Paul. If that doesn't say Blues Dentist, what does? Has Baxter been pulling teeth?😂😅
They need to have option where the headstock is busted off and it's fixed with wood dowels and graphite. A lot of players say the sustain is better after somebody who knows what they are doing does the repairs
Do they have The Gibson Demo Shop guitars that are on Reverb there? Some great deals, I always check them out when I'm on Reveb
Beards and guitars and race cars. lol. Sounds like a song!
A 59 foot Les Paul? Impressive! What gauge strings are on that monster? 😜
I'm like, "dang... I'm gonna need a bigger garage!"
Thank you Gibson. Now how about setting Casino up a dealer fer Christ's sake!!!
You guys are the weirdest guitar salesman ever. I don’t think I’ve seen one of your videos with any products you actually sell

Aaaw spinach with copious butter, mushroom sauce medium rare steak. Mashed spuds are a bonus.

How much did the Time Machine cost ?
Did he go mother of pearl or abalone? Did a custom ‘57 koa top m2m last trip to Nashville.
Patrick Green is a distant cousin of mine, oh and a ~2 year wait. Yeesh.
Bassman . Just try the 1990 4x10 Peavy classic 50 Tweed . Whats the end guitar & pics ?
so are you guys a Gibson dealer now? or not? I thought you weren't
How long does it take them to build and deliver when you do a made-to-measure?
6-9 months
Does it DJENT???
IMO I think the used price of the custom shop R8-R9-R0 are going to drop . Gibson has flooded the market with these golden era Les Pauls . I saw video of the latest guitar shows and it seemed like it was a Gibson Les Paul convention .

We have never been a Gibson Dealer, we do get them in used quite often. Maybe in the future we will be dealers!
Gibson knows best

so if it was a dish, gibson would let you put the spices and thats it

It gets clicks.

what a stupid comment, this isnt glenn channel
I'd like to spec out a 59 in every respect except paint that thing a solid colour and forego the binding. Drive the purists nuts ahaha. I'm broke so it remains an idea for now, but one day!
I read the video title and thought it said building a Les Paul at the Gibson GARBAGE
Dirty Lemon. Heavy relic. ‘59. Ebony board. And I’ll just super heavy relic the hardware myself. Anybody got $40k?

US$9k for a new non vintage depreciating Les Paul. Wtf?
Classic spooner. 😂
Worst title for a video. It should have been called "Two guys talk about the Custom Shop."
Donate to your gas fund, hhhmmmm, nawwwww… lol
reliced
you make me ill
eff Gibson
overpriced 30 yo tech
What a waste of money!!! Stupid hidden wal of shit wood I would rather buy a prs private stock . At least I know I would be getting a quality guitar
