Finally ! Been checking for this every few hours.
I just started playing again after nearly 2 years and this is what I needed. It's mostly for my Druid so I'm not worried about getting rich off of crafting. Now to look at Tailoring and Blacksmithing

Does anyone know if dragon shards are only for crafters? I cant seem to unlock them on my gatherer alt
What skinning tree would you do if you were to run the reagant/armor kit build (25 LW discipline, 25 Curing and tanning, 30 awl inspiring works and 30 shear mastery of leather.) Would you do the baiting skinning build? thanks!
Hey if you want to focus on armor kits you won’t really be needed a ton of the rare exclusive drops so I probably wouldn’t go with baits. I would go tanning for refining but make sure you unlock the harvesting tree for increased damage to beasts

I personally have been focusing on reagents and consumables due to being on a smaller pop server (not a lot of raiders/gear demand)

For the Protective Gloves profession accessory for Engineers. Is the skill to craft those affected by Mail or Leather Armor specialization trees or neither?
Neither, you need to focus on the discipline tree for generic skill and target profession equipment specifically
btw, after getting look at LW/JC do u think there will be some shuffles? for vendor ofc, enchanting one is not for everybody
Vendor shuffling is something that can always be a possibility, likely later down the line as things like leather get cheaper

Hello! Great video, I just have a question regarding leveling and knowledge. How do I level from 65-100 and how do I get all the knowledge points currently available?
You will have to unlock recipes thru specializations, renown (reputation) or BoE world drops. You can currently earn KPs thru first time crafts, completing your weeklies, looting treasures, talking to a profession master, and more. If you go to the spreadsheet in the description, you can find some information and links to help you out!
Do you know how long it will be before we know what the "optimal" crafting specializations/builds will be? I have never really got into professions before but I want to give it a shot in Dragonflight. So I really have no idea what is good.
Optimal builds will always be ever changing. Great thing is that you can learn everything so if you spec into something and it starts to perform worse, you can move on to the next!

Would you recommend two main professions on one toon or 1 main and 1 gathering?
I personally recommend grouping your gathering professions on a single toon instead of spreading them out

is there any way to be able to "dismantle" green gear as leatherworker? in BFA we had a scapping machine, no clue how things worked in SL but now there seems to be nothing? no spell, no scrapper, no nothing?
There is nothing, only option would be to mail the BoE gear to an enchanter and disenchant those items for enchanting materials
I always grind my mats if i could hence having 2 skinner 2 herb and 2 miners back when i played.. biut after watch videos, and dragonflight, i might get some more professions, i have a lvl 35hunter, but when i bought dragonflight 2months ago i made new choices at 58, so just jump on him and start game no need to lvl my alts, he would be skin and leeather too?? But then what bout hunter, him again?
So if we want to make pvp gear we go the bestial route... But will we need to spec into say leather working tree and Max out helm crafting as well to make the best quality pvp helm? Or is bestial kind of self contained and leather working helm etc is only for the pve armor?
You may want to put in some points into Leatherworking to improve your overall leather armor crafting, but bestial will improve those pvp gear!
how do you so many sparks? I thought these were time gated and you can only get them from a rare drop?

No but you would get work orders for others.. or u spam in trade, "LW can build epic( ) my mats (soulbound) your reagents and cost of my mats lol

Answer is yes and yes to both lol. The recipe is a drop, so either you can farm for it or buy it off the auction house for a premium. With that being said, you can either order it thru work orders if you don’t have enough skill yourself, or buy the recipe and craft it for yourself and others. Either way works, just depends on what you are trying to do

Yes, the high level recipes come from Drops, Reputation, Quests, and Specializations

Epic quality gear is no longer sold thru the AH, you have to order them thru the crafting order system

Crafted gear goes up to 418, that’s mythic raid quality!
Since the crafted items are BOP does that mean you can’t sell them/ trade them?
