wish you would have shown pans on the stove to see how they actually fit and size reference with the wind guards up.

Nice review, think this or the LX will be my next stove, awesome to have a true low. In another review I saw you can take the back wind guard all the way off for larger pots. Not sure how this is diff than the lz model. Id prefer the propane can attached to the back myself to have more cookspace to the side. My old school coleman propane has served me well and has a so so sputtery simmer. had been tempted to purchase a new coleman with hyperflame, but all reviews I have seen says it has a very poor simmer, and the flame is much more like a jet so will be a hotspot maker. bummer because one of the models comes with extendable level-able legs so you don't need a table and I like the fuel can on some of the models is at the rear. They also are supposed to do very well in the wind w/ any screen. pricier than the eureka. Bummer the new coleman has no good low. Hmmm

The lid flipping back is not necessarily bad since that can allow using larger cookware.

Absolutly. I would probably only use the chain when i need more side room but want the wind gaurd in the front.
