Hi Mark, it's always a great pleasure to watch your videos!
Thank you very much for the time you devote to our passion.

Great video! I think the most methodical way to decide on the steering block is to look at the track layout:
    - long and flowy track -> longer wheelbase -> zero trail
    - tight and twisty track -> shorter wheelbase -> standard trail
Then adjust the stability and turn-in characteristics with camber, toe and diff settings. Ackermann if on is feeling spicy.
Everything else will change too much at once and you start to lose reference points in your setup.

Does anyone make single piece shims for the wheel shims? I know it may be difficult since the wheels a lot of times are not identical widths. Would be nice to see a 1.8-2mm one piece shim for the outside of the front wheel (I run all shims outside)

I am no away of any. I think if it annoyed me too much I would glue a set up. However I do swap between Ulti and Horace wheels so I do need the options with the 0.5mm steps.

I love your videos thank you. What do you think of the shorter posts that will lower the servo in the car? I think they are 1-2mm shorter posts under the servo plate.

I did try this. Sagami make some... The servo was just a bit too low and I needed a 0.5mm shim to get clearance under the servo. In the end I judged this to be not worth the bother. I could feel no difference.

Thanks for these videos. I'm a 30 year rc racer, just getting in to 12th scale with the A12 and I appreciate all the help making sense of all the different configurations of parts available. I bought my car used with the standard zt front end. I'm going to try the minus 6 front end in gt12 rubber 21.5. I race on ultra high grip carpet. My local track will be hosting the 2023 US nationals in March. I appreciate the thorough videos!

This is a great video, thanks!
And with the chapters and writeup it make it easy to rewatch a particular item.
As far as UA-cam guides go, this is just as good as it can get.

This is a very well done informational video. Cameras, editing, lighting, sound. All excellent IMO.
I hope others copy your style, to be honest.
    Cheers

Thanks. In reality this is very hard to
do. This video is 1 day of planning and filming followed by 3 full days of editing. If I was to calculate the cost of the time, the kit and my expertise in medial production… it is a nasty number that no one wants! This is why you generally get what you get!

Got a link to some race footage? Would like to see what these cars look like running or maybe a keyword for search if possible?
