One thing I suggest if you keep the stock exhaust heatsheild, is to clean it up and get a can of duplicolor semigloss ceramic coating. looks alot better in the engine bay than a rusty heatsheild.
I would say theres really no point of adding performance mods to this. Just save it for boost, that's the only thing that will actually give you a noticeable performance increase. Like an cai might look cool and add a little swoosh to the sound, but realistically it doesn't do anything performance wise(sometimes even losses power) on a stock miata. At the end of the day you could've saved ~$200 towards boosting it :)
Do not turbo this car unless it's an engine swap from the miata that comes turbocharged. I have watched too many videos online where people grenade their motors. You will probably lose 1-2 hp down low but gain 1-2 hp up top with an aftermarket intake. Have you looked up the compression specs for this motor and then did a compression check on each cylinder? That is the first thing I would do to a car before I ever did any power adders. If the motor in your car is stout here is what I would do. Cold air intake, a nice header and a nice full exhaust and then have the ecu tuned by someone who knows what they are doing. Edit: That was all wrote before I watched 1 minute of the video but I would definitely keep as is engine wise and put a hard top on. A hard top makes the car look beautiful.
Just found out you had a Miata, lol. If or when you have the money, get an MSPnP2 and an IAT sensor kit. The MAF is so restrictive that the high flow filter is nearly pointless besides throttle response.
gingium you should supercharge the car instead of a turbo! its cheaper, has less lag, and has a more linear power curve. with the Jackson racing supercharger you can easily make 200+ horsepower. also the supercharger whine is AMAZING.
How are you gona put the hard top? Do u need to remove the stickers?? I have a Miata but is from factory hard top so...i just dont no dude. And Smurfette is sounding better too. I like MIATA MONDAYS is really cool and keep ging on bro. Peace:)))
These kind of intakes are not allowed ... Every change to the vehicle has to be checked if it is a major one or just has to be registered in the cars documents.... :(

Most cars don't have a massive pos metal crap box blocking its path from air to intake.
