So, Spinnaker number 2 and I think I prefer it to Spinnaker number 1. Especially as this one is cheaper at $175 with the discount code. Sapphire would have sealed the deal for me, but overall not a bad effort, especially is this killer colour combo. Cheers, JOMW!
Usually not a fan of "faux vintage", but this one looks really nice!
I do own a Spinnaker Hull for about 2 years with a different dial
and I'm pleased to see they upgraded the lume,
otherwise I'll prefer the old style
especially the new table tennis secondhand looks a bit over the top.
About the PVD coating when the watch is new it is very shiny
but after a year of so it will be much nicer and more beater like.
I LOVE the design on the clear back! It reminds me of the sanctum sanctorum
Yes, they could have a plain case back and a nice dome sapphire. Amazing value though if this is your sort of thing.

Nice piece. I own 3 Spinnaker pieces. Like you, wish crystal was sapphire as opposed to mineral. Wish it was on a rubber strap or metal bracelet. And the etching on the back of the case. Why have a see-through case back & then obscure that view of it with that funky looking whatever? Sup wit dat?

can you buy the straps by themselves? I can't seem to find it on the website, my strap got damaged.

Looks good Jody, value for money for those that like the Panerai style. I agree , add sapphire and the increased cost would have been totally worth while.

Yeah, like this a lot. My misgiving though is the thickness, although on the wrist it looks fine. Loving the strap too AND the price is right. One to consider hmmmm. Full marks for another cracking review. 👍

Not just another dive watch. I love the retro look. Ordered mine and received it today, 3 days later. My second Spinnaker and I'm very happy with both. Not a fan of the case back, but it's sure not going to bother me when it's on my wrist. Thanks for the review.

Usually not keen on the look of Panerai watches. Maybe it has to do with the numerals on the dial. However, I'm liking what I see on Spinnakers take on the dial (which color though lol). Might be looking into this one! Thanks for the video!

another great review. this is watch is quite tempting but I'm still crazy about the Zoretto Indy. Its a lot more rugged and got a bit more character and also have sapphire. Hey Jody, what about the "20K Sub give away"

Hey, Jody, there are leather straps with special water resistant coating, suited for diving. But I doubt Spinnaker put any of those on their watches

Hi Jody. Think this watch would be better with sapphire as scratches show up more on dark dials as experienced. Nicer movement though. Lovely chunky strap. Good value overall. Thanks for another great review. Greetings from Adrian in Sheffield England. 😀

I feel the spinnaker look is just a little off kilter, they just do a little something wrong.
Looks like good value Jody and I like that dial...but mineral crystal and DLC mine would be scratched to death within a month -I am just too clumsy. Thanks for another great video :)

$175 watch made in China without sapphire. Sort of thing Seiko do
A dial with numeric markings at 3,6,9 and 12 would've been better. Give it a dial like The Panerai Radiomir. Also drop The date indicator. The case back should be solid with the logo etched in.

Got one for Christmas and... it had a crooked date window out of the box. Six weeks later the crystal split from... intense office wear...? :/ Shipped it away to be ignored by Spinnaker an IWSC... Better off without a watch TBH.
Good loom, but that is it about the watch.
I brought one of these . It may be advertised as 12mm think but it is 16mm thick. I think the only way you can measure 12mm would be without the slightly protruding caseback and glass. I think that measurement is misleading and certainly it wares much much higher than I expected. I am very disappointed in it.

Fat Boab same feeling. This one get's closer. I will keep trying to find one of theirs that suits me. They are probably more professional looking in person. I did have that experience with MSTR.
You can get a Parnis that looks a lot like a Panerai for around $100...
C.E. Parks Bit from what I understand that will be ebay garbage. On the Parnis website, the supposed quality controlled Parnis' (Parnises, Parni?), which are supposed to be actually quite decent, don't they go for about $170?
Does not really seem to have a Panerai look to me. I'd love to see you review a Parnis ( parnis.org/collections/militare-collection) Great video .

If you like a watch that fits a man's wrist like a woman's watch than this is for you. I just received the watch in the tan and black. Too small and comes off very cheap. Shipped from Hong Kong also so there is that.
