Hopefully conveys to MS how people are generally happier with how W10 is vs W11

This kind of reminds me of the past versions of Windows. When Window XP users refused to upgrade to Windows Vista for long list of reasons (one of which was hardware requirements), Microsoft released Windows 7 which was basically Windows Vista with fixes and minor updates.
When Windows 7 users refused to upgrade to Windows 8, Microsoft released Windows 8.1 to bring back the start button (not start menu though, you still had to use 3rd party apps to have a start menu). Windows 8.1 was basically Windows 8 with those minor tweaks and updates.
Now people are refusing to upgrade to Windows 11 for another long list of reasons. But now there's no Windows 12 or Windows 11.1 with the minor tweaks and updates people want but it's otherwise just Windows 11. It's not like Microsoft hasn't released tweaked or "fixed" versions of Windows in the past to deal with the long list of problems. This is Microsoft putting their foot down against what people want. They're not a small, medium, or large company. They're a GIGANTIC company commanding more money than many other countries. If they really wanted to, they could absolutely make a Windows 12 or what ever in response to the massive amount of criticism they're getting.
Make no mistake, Microsoft is making too much money off of monetizing your data and training their AI on you and looping you into subscriptions for their Office suite and cloud services. They're not backing down this time. You can either get used to the "new normal" or you can leave Windows. That's the choice Microsoft is giving you. It sucks, but that's reality. There's no "hoping Microsoft gets the message" anymore. They're actively alienating the tech community at this point and they've simply stopped caring about user choice.
At the end of the day, if you're tech savvy enough to be questioning what is going on and rejecting Microsoft's current direction for Windows, you're tech savvy enough to start re-evaluating your options and start looking at what you can do about it. It's up to you to take action for yourself now.

I'm so glad Microsoft is not an auto manufacturer. We would have started with a 4 wheel car, then tried 3, then 5 wheels, then a sort of 1 wheeled unicycle auto, jumped to a 9 wheel model, all of course compulsory no matter how many of us were perfectly satisfied with 4 wheels. 😂

My social service agency is keeping their 400 desktops with Windows 10 for at least the next decade. I have ten machines at home that cannot be upgraded to Windows 10 so they are staying put as well. I do most of my main computing on my phone and tablet. The agency has several custom apps that cannot be moved to Windows 11 and they are used daily to run the business. The companies that wrote them are long gone.

There must always be desktop OS version.
It simply does not match with mobile version.
Its like comparing car with bike.

When you stop and think about it there is no reason anyone actually needs to upgrade. We just want to use our computers to get stuff done. It is Microsoft that just keeps trying to make us upgrade. When was the last time you heard anyone complaing they are absolutely hanging out for the next version of Windows ?

New Windows versions have nothing to do with user needs and everything to do with Microsoft's cash flow. Users don't _need_ Windows 11 and resent having it forced upon them, so the more Microsoft push it, harder the user base pushes back.
We simply do not believe in Microsoft's "vision". It's a bad business plan because the public don't want yet another ad-based data mining OS - we're sick of everyone and his dog pushing us to buy crap we don't need whenever we go online so more advertising is the last thing we want !
Also, we've learned not to trust anything that Microsoft says. We know that if they want to introduce a "feature" they'll keep right on and put it into Windows no matter how much the user base protests and despite their weasel words. Updates that reset the user's preferences to Microsoft's preferences, anyone ?

Don't forget "deprecating" user preferences, letting them work for a while only in the registry then making those get ignored. Or that time they decided to retroactively paywall a file system type.

If Windows 12 continues to push the overblown and frankly unnecessary hardware requirements as bad as Windows 11 did, it'll be useless for the 70% of the systems on the planet that are probably still running Windows 10. Almost none of us want their AI spyware features, so why would we want 12 at all? So what are they really trying to do, push everyone off to Linux desktops? Why? Windows 11 was clearly a bone that Micro$oft was throwing to the PC hardware vendors, to "make" everyone have to buy new systems during a global chip shortage, and 12 looks like an attempt to push AI, even if it isn't doing anything remotely useful. When will Micro$oft's management pull their heads out of their collective rear ends and actually try to improve their products in ways that their users actually want and need?

It seems logical to me that if Win 10 is so dominant it's because no one understandably wants Win 11 and even when MS stops their dubious support for 10 people will still use it because they don't like 11. That being the case surely MS would want to get rid of 11 and replace it with something that the public will accept. Will that be Win 12? Who knows? But they need to do something.

I just need Windows 10 for games for now. When I get a chance, I'll figure out how I can have Linux take care of that to run Windows games on Linux.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I have talked before when I got a new refurbished computer from a place called computers for the blind, that I got it with windows 11. I could not get the computer with Windows 10 unless I got an older computer. Well, I paid a little extra for the computer so that I could run windows 11 in the future well what is one of the first things I did when I got it OK I played with it Windows 11 and I’m OK with it and I’m comfortable with it and I feel that I can use it with my screen reading software. And that’s fine. But I wasn’t really that excited about using it. There were things that I’m used to doing in 10 that I can’t do an 11 so what did I do? Well I downgraded the windows 10. It is the best decision I’ve made. Now I’ll go back to Windows 11 in 2025 unless Microsoft is going to allow for cheap or free extended support. But I’m gonna stay on Windows 10 till the last possible moment. If Windows 12 does come out, I’m willing to give that a try. Next year or the year after but I’m not going to listen to Microsoft. I’m going to do what I want when I want. Microsoft doesn’t seem to worry or care about the fallout from their stupid decisions. If I were someone who did these stupid things, I would probably lose customers and I would probably have to change my attitude, but Microsoft seems to be able to get away with things. And I don’t like it. They think because they’re so big and bad and good that they can do whatever they want. Well we need some changes. Congress needs to pass some laws to stop Microsoft from doing these stupid behaviors. I don’t know what those laws exactly would be but I’m sure we could find something that Microsoft is doing that Congress could put a stop to their stupidity. Or I should say parliament, depending on what country that you’re reading this in. I do agree with that one person Windows XP dominant, Windows Vista. No one wanted to use Windows 7 good, Windows 8/8.1 not that good, Windows 10, dominant and good. Windows 11, not so good, this is Microsoft last chance if they don’t do anything good with Windows 12 then I don’t know what’s gonna happen. So we’ll have to see.

it's there own fault they shouldn't of release this crappy windows 11 it's windows 10 with little face lift and strip out features they should of waited and make a better different windows 11 release maybe it would of worked out better but they think there customer are stupid and will jump on the shiny new thing. The new AI push should be optional because i don't want it and i know many people that don''t want it so i say during the install there should be toggle to turn on or off AI or do windows AI edition.

Did you know that Windows 10 after the end of support would be appearing Full Screen ESU would be appearing with two options Windows 11 and Windows 12 to upgrade to Windows 12 you need it requirement Windows 12 similarly Requirements Windows 11
I'm also I'm very Clearly Windows 10 probably would go be below 30% until The End of Support With Windows 10 Almost been 10 Year Anniversary of Windows 10 After Successfully Released Back in July 2015
say’s Microsoft it would indeed be a nice touch to release Windows 12 in June 2025 ✅ or mid July 2025 ❌ marking the 10th anniversary of Windows 10 release back in July 2015.
