Very nicely done indeed. Such a refreshing way to document the wonders of Snowdonia. Tryfan can be a little tricky in the fog. So easy to lose your way and so many dead ends. Stunning once you get to the top though. One time about halfway up, I slipped on wet rock, twisted my ankle, and blew my knee out as I hit the ground. I had to backtrack in the fog and drizzle with one working leg. If it were not for the help of my climbing partner, I would have been up the creek without a paddle as they say!

Sounds like a character building descent!
Tryfan is probably my favourite mountain, I love climbing it, especially on those days with mist and allow cloud wafting around. It’s a great feeling. Completely agree on the risks of getting lost or making poor decisions though. It can be a very dangerous place.

Thank you Chris for this and the snowd in video. It certainly brought back some wonderful memories. 9 years ago this coming June at the age of 68 I did Crib Goch, sadly I did not have the weather you did, rain, mist, hail and snow, also my only trip to Tryfan found Adam and Eve with an inch of ice on them, so couldn't do the jump. I now live in B.C. western Canada and you provided me with a great memory lane trip. I'm happy to subscribe.

You and me both. I did once run to and from the summit of Snowdon from Llanberis town. I recall it was tough going up, I left in shorts and t shirt to find a fairly busy summit of people wearing hats and gloves! It felt amazing having people look at me thinking I was crazy, so much so that I gained some kind of super confidence and energy and all but sprinted back down to Llanberis feeling incredible.
I could barely walk for a few days afterwards...🤣

I lived in Nant Gwynant until recently, (village at start of Watkin Path), and I'm already missing the mountains. I've lost count how many times I've walked up Snowdon, in particular.
This is lovely, peaceful video (thanks to general lack of intrusive music!!), showing off what the gorgeous area has to offer. Very special part of the world, to me anyway.
I particularly enjoyed the shots of the mountain goats in the mist at 44:43 and of the valley at 47:08 .. I don't know if it's just me but I always love going up those mountains in that kind of weather, I find it more calming and atmospheric than when it's very warm and sunny, so long as it isn't pouring (and usually with the added benefit of there being fewer people on overcast days!)... what do you think? Of course I also love the panoramic views on a clear day..
Anyway, cheers for the great vid

I’m with you on the weather, I’m a big fan of weather in general and like nothing more than a bit of low cloud floating around while I’m up there. I’ve had some really magical moments over the years, and more often than not it has been just before and quite often just after cloud when these happen. I really do prefer this to clear blue skies. The wind I’m not a big fan of, but cloud... yea please!

Sorry had to add another comment.
19/20 minutes into this video, I don't know if you saw what I could see, but when you did a walk towards the camera scene, I thought you was gonna walk through a cobweb, once you'd past the camera it was obvious that it was the light bouncing off the little twigs and grass, but to me, it was only obvious afterwards, great use of the sunlight.
Also 40 minutes in, that valley you climbed up must of been torture 😳, especially after having to come back for your camera each time, I've seen a few other people on UA-cam scale the same as you did, but they never went that far up before coming back for their camera (only a select few have, including yourself), you're all nuts haha 😄 I had to reach for my inhaler just watching you 🤣.
You definitely got your sausage and bacon on this video, nice it looked too 😛. (Breakfast and Brew with a view 👌)
The drone footage and views were exceptional ✌️.
In response to your last comment, sorry I didn't say before, I can honestly see how every detail is thought out and then put on to the screen for us to watch and enjoy. You definitely have an awesome talent for this, truly gifted.

I like your video but I can't agree with your food choices. Stop eating food and snacks that take energy from you instead giving you energy. All you doing in giving your body a massive insulin spike. You eating chocolates, peanuts, chocolate bars and chips. I am a hiker and in fact tomorrow am going on a winter hike here in Sweden where I live. Firstly drink fresh lemon juice which is healthy and will only give your body energy. Tea was good which you had. Then eat bananas for energy and rice cakes and prepare before the hike beetroot juice. These are the items that cyclists use in the tour de france in the back pockets to fuel their bodies and it is the best for long hikes. Cheers.
