For the warthog, my personal favourite is Magnetic Pellet alignment, it allows me to hit things very far away without wasting my secondary ammo and also allows me to consistently load alot more pellets into enemies' weak points, which means less shots which means effectively more ammo.
It is pretty nice!
it's the only possible OC for me. Sucks to have a short ranged weapon as primary. Also, it feels good to 1shot grunts coming at you
I love it for funny turret trickshots across caves. There's nothing more satisfying than firing into the void and then watching a green blob of death fly back towards your target

Can't go wrong with the Volatile Impact Reactor. I'm a real stickler about ammo efficiency, and being able to all but wipe out an entire group of grunts with like a dozen ammo by painting a horizontal line or two really tickles my fancy.
That one is pretty nice!
Love my refire stubby.
Love my lightweight breach cutter.

Seeker rounds is definitely my favorite. It doesn't directly boost your dps or damage but it turns nearly all locks into guaranteed damage which I think makes up for any blocked shots or bad curves you might have with other overclocks.
Tbh I would take magnetic pellet alignment over lightweight magazines and just take ammo mod, bcs I always take choke (with an exception when using mpa) so in the end I get twice as much ammo with an trade off of slower rate of fire.
These days i usually run everything extra ammo on both stubby, difractor and turrets. Engineer can become quite ammo-hungry when the shit hits the fan and it's still able to kick ass.

When it comes to the Engi and I want to never run out ammo (impossible sounding, I know) I go Explosive rounds on the Lok1 and then Shard Diffractor with Efficiency Tweaks. My go to deep dive set up anyway. Explosive Rounds feels like it can work with anything because it has such good dps and just enough burst. I have been having fun letting it be the swiss army knife to my Fat Boy as well! I barely ever use Breach Cutter but I tend to keep it simple or fire.
Try out electricity on SD, Lok can give guarandeed procs from 3+ bursts and once target is on fire you get bonus dmg on Lok too. This gun can be so efficient that as engi I sling 1-2 resupplies to someone if needed because I have so much spare...

Man I cant wait to get some luck to get myself a engine overclocks, I've been getting lots for the other classes but not 1 yet for the engine
I think they planned a 6th overclock for the warthog but it got scrapped because of technical problems. DRG Historian made a video about that
Magnetic Pellet alignment is one of my favorites. Primarily because if you take choke, you can 2 shot grunts reliably from 40 meters away.

@@odyssey5750 Lazymaybe described it as "silly", not "a waste". In other words, it works, but it's basically a meme. I watched that video to, mate. How else would I know I can two shot from 40ms away?
@@odyssey5750 He didn't say it was a waste or bad at all. Just that it was funny to put that much range on a shotgun.
Executioner more dmg > Explosive chemical rounds in my opinion.
Do you take extra dmg or more ammo in tier 1?

EPC has area damage tho so it’s better against swarms
Edit: Engie’s secondaries have good single target damage so you can just switch to them against big things
Sad to not see ma boi Inferno overclock even bringing to the table. Sure you trade direct damage for fire/heat damage, but OH BOY when you want to see the world burn, that overclock bring the heat like there's no tomorrow... Seriously tho you can delete entire swarms of glyphids with it, even one shotting guards (and that's quiet a thing) and still hiting the likes of Praetorians, Opressors and any big badies like a truck. Versatile and very solid, taking advantage of the power of fire/heat, swarm clearer for days, find it to be the most reliable overclock for Breach Cutter atm. Maybe I'm wrong, but for the time spent with it, never have I ever regret taking it with me
Warthog: I like Magnetic Pellets. The extra accuracy means that I can take either ammo or damage while still 1shot grunts semi reliably. I don't mind the slow fire rate since it keeps me from wasting rounds like a doofus. Plus I tapfire the Warthog most of the time anyways.
Stubby: EM Refire. Electro builds are fun, though I won't lie brother, I almost never run the Stubby. Gun isn't bad, not by a damn sight, I just don't vibe with it for some reason.
LOK-1: Explosive Chemical Rounds. My favorite OC purely because of my friend always getting them mixed up with the Chemical Explosive rounds for the crossbow
PGL: My mind is telling me Hyper Propellant, but my body desperately craves atomic devastation. I love watching Praetorians and Sentry bots crease to exist with a well placed shot, but watching a big horde of grunts learn the true meaning of "War Never Changes" is the biggest dopamine hit I ever got in a video game.
Breach Cutter: Light Weight Cases. Breach Cutter is fine on it's own. LWC is just "breach cutter, but more." Reload speed is negligable though since anyone running BC is probably also rocking born ready.
Shard Diffractor: Efficiency Tweaks. Same story as BC. It's just SD, but more of it. I wanna try out Overdrive once I get it though.
Overdrive is great. You do have to set the Diffractor up for a smaller "clip" so that you don't waste a lot of excess charge, but you can solo melt praetorians and oppressors easy.
Also, I've enjoyed Return to Sender for the BC. Less max ammo, but you get to use every shot twice.
The explosive platform OC for the Shard Diffractor is slept on I feel.
Hell yes, I love seeing some Hyper Propellant love.
It is really strong.

Hyper propellant is my favorite oc so far.
I recently got hyper propellant and executioner and that combo simply deletes bugs, it is way too much fun!

Love me some Engine Overclocks
In my opinion, Return to Sender is fantastic. It’s so good. Ever since I got it I was surprised at how much damage I could do to everything.
Is there ever a situation where it's better to not use an overclock when you're just starting out?
Only with Double Barrel or Manuel Cutoff on Hurricane. Otherwise probably not.
@@ReapeeRon the only overclock I have for the plasma rifle is manual overheat that returns ammo, and I still run out faster than usual.
@@SIMULACRA37 Unstable Overclocks change the way your weapon works more than other Overclocks. You have to build for rewire mod, which is a good OC if you want to use it. Wether you like it depends on your playstyle, but it is viable.
Hyper prop is really not as good as most people think it is, especially on 4 player missions were enemies have buffed resistances
You can still one shot a lot of enemies with it.

I don’t get why people sleep on spinning death so much, it’s stupidly overpowered. It gives you 8 seconds of invincibility to melee enemies, it’s absolutely stupid busted.
It is pretty strong.
If you think it's busted now you should have seen it on release - it's a shadow of what it once was. Still good now but when you compare it to what it was it can stifle enthusiasm.

I dont really understand the thing about executioner. I got it yesterday and began to struggle in the EDD since I was running out of ammo pretty fast while shooting those dreadnoughts. Can somebody explain? XD
I haven't really noticed the weakspot dmg bonus to be honest.
um well u do 50% more damage thats kina a number that i wouldn't expect someone not to notice XD with that oc u have to aim only for weakspots and not just randomly shoot

I have light weight magazines with warthog I’m thinking it’s the best overclock I have because I’m bronze 2 with engineer as I started the game like 4 or 3 months ago

for the shotgun i would say overload... ur acaly the first person who i have ever seen like or even use that light cases and i don't really think +18 ammo is good enough for the stubby i would pick refire or super slim i cant stand the -2 damage lol for the lok i dont really use it so sure chemical is pretty good for the pgl i also really like propellent altho rj250 is also really good. also u said "tho i don't recommend it" to the speed up mod... many ppl still use the armor brake mod because it seems like the best BUT ITS BUGGED do NOT use that mod its useless and does not work... another option is the fire mod but u loose 50% damage and the amount of heat u do is much more than a enemy can take is it ends up being wasted... it really seems like the speed mod is the best (the heat mod is good on rival missions since u can insta kill robots but besides that not really. for the breach yeah it is good but return and inferno are also really strong... they definitely compete with the only +3 ammo u get from light cases. finally with the laser i would say Plastcrete Catalyst used right its REALLY strong... also Volatile Impact Reactor is really good to. LAST THING. STOP USING THE ARMOUR BREAK MOD ITS BUGGED XD

Seeker > executioner, also great vs mactera, all kinds of things, but explosive chemical rounds is best for Lok1
Hyper-prop is most fun, not sure about best
Return to sender sadly not great because range gets so limited, light weight casing for sure
Haven't tested everything on shard diffractor
