This show ends ends in the most satisfying way imaginable. It's kind of unbelievable how they were able to wrap up everyone's story so perfectly.
I also love the fact that this whole tragedy happened because Walt turned down Elliot and Gretchen's help in season 1. Partially, out of resentment towards them for "taking credit for his work," and partially to feed his ego and become the sole provider to his family. However, in the finale, Walt ends up needing Elliot and Gretchen to get the money to his family and has to surrender all the credit to them.
Never thought of that
I could talk about this universe for hours. No one does it better.
God this show is amazing
Season 4 and 5 are probably the best 2 series of tv I’ve ever watched. Incredible end to the show and it ended right at the right time
There's a quick scene in the final episode, when he's standing in what's left of his house, and they do a quick flashback of the pilot, when Hank is telling Walt to come on a ride along and "get a little excitement in his life."
It's heartbreaking because of Hank's fate, but there's a moment where the frame cuts from 1st season Walt to last episode Walt, it is such an amazing shot, and truly helps remind you of the change, the arc, that Walt had. All in one quick cut of the same actor. In a final episode full of great moments, that one never gets talked about but it's so perfect
Every time you’ve released these reviews I wanna start rewatching this show
The better call Saul finale actually made me like Marie’s character a lot more on a breaking bad rewatch.
yep
you’ve rewatched bb since the finale of bcs 😂💀
@@georgepryer8442 Yup, me too. So what?
@@georgepryer8442 Yep
It would’ve been hilarious if at the very end Jesse says “I spent your RV savings on meth and strippers”
Lol
Would you ever consider doing a character ranking of all the main cast Breaking Bad verse characters?
I think that would be a very interesting video as most of these characters have such interesting arcs and lots of layers to them that I have a hard time picking my favourite or most interesting!
I've been thinking about it all along. It's just a tough video to make because it's so many characters
@@SeanChandlerPlus i think if you just stick to the main cast members from the 2 shows it could be easier than say a MCU character ranking - the list of characters to rank then would be Walter, Jesse, Skyler, Hank, Marie, Walt Jr, Saul, Mike, Gus, Todd, Lydia, Nacho, Kim, Chuck, Howard and Lalo.
@@SeanChandlerPlus you could do your top 15-20 characters ranked or something like that
@@SeanChandlerPlus I was about to suggest the exact same thing.
It almost feels easier if you add more characters so you can at least get the flow of "Okay, so these characters I didn't care for, now I'm building on that." Like Ted & Jane I'm sure would be lower down.
This is the best season in TV History especially Part 2. This is everything the show was building and it's completely satisfying. Walt And Jesse are 2 of the best TV Characters of all time bought to life by Vince's Writing And Bryan's And Aaron's Performances. Ozymandias Is The Best TV Episode Of All Time and may never be topped in Acting, Payoff, And Tensity. Felina Is one the best Finale episode and is the gold stranded of how to end a series. This is the best show ever made and may been match is quality. Breaking Bad And Better Call Saul are next level television and through i do want more from The BadVerse if it's done it's one of the best universe in Media.
My name is Ozymandias. King of kings. Look upon my work ye mighty and despair.
The Series Finale to Breaking Bad (2008-2013) is the greatest TV Series Finale of All Time!
Well i think its 6 Feet Under for me as 1A and Breaking Bad as 1B.
Finale is really a revenge story.
“That book” is called ‘Leaves of Grass’ !
I’m so happy you understand why the confession video was left behind, people seem confused and think it was just dropped but it’s just because Jesse was a new factor after the fact
It was a great journey watching your Breaking Bad-verse videos and I'm glad both of these shows had such a satisfying conclusion
I’ve loved hearing you discuss every season of BB! I’ve been listening to them during work almost like a podcast and it’s been helping me get through my work shifts. I’m finally binging through Better Call Saul and I love it just as much as BB if not more, and have been watching your reviews as I finish each season. Keep up the great work Sean!
When Walter is rolling his barrel away, he passes the pants he left out there in season 1.
That must be why Ozymandias is considered the shows peak. It really brought it full circle, didn't it?
Really???
Did that really happen???!

Enjoyed this video very much. 👍
This has my favorite moment when Walter admitted doing it for the family was b.s and he did it all for himself. Love how the show never redeemed Walter cause even though he succeeded in giving money to his son. He lost everybody and his name will live on as one of the villainous drug makers ever. Hank death was the most heartbreaking moment of the show cause he was so close to capturing Walter. I love how breaking bad story shows us at the end that Walter always had heinsberg in him he just needed an excuse and cancer provided him an excuse to be him. Todd death was really satisfying
There's not a single episode that is a filler here, gut-wrenching, emotional, in other words perfect. Best finale ever in tv: history imho. Thank you Sean for this review 🙏
Breaking Bad doesn’t really have filler episodes, but damn does it have some boring ones, even in the amazing 4th season. But you’re absolutely right, the 2nd part of season 5 is all killer, every episode is an all-timer.
@@rafa9200 I honestly can't say I've ever been bored by a single episode of Breaking Bad, but to each their own.
@@rafa9200 Not the Season 4
Maybe early parts of S03, maybe. When Jesse and Walt aren't working together, and even Walt is at another home
There are 2 non-talking Mexican 'cool for cool sake' dudes, and story around them
S5B is the reason the show is 10/10 for me , there was nothing mid about it. It was so well done. Ep 14 - 16 are the best episodes in tv history.
Such a great show
Fairly new here. Just wanted to say I've been loving the content Sean! Been binging your videos at work lol
Thanks so much For watching
The scene when the Neo Nazis show up before the big shoot out is the most tense couple minutes perhaps ever in television history. The music, the stakes, the unpredictability of what was going to happen just has your heart jumping even on rewatches.
"Oh Hey, There's Todd. Let Me Go Over There & Choke Him Out."
Absolutely Priceless! lol
Nah.
Jesse put him to sleep.
*PERMANENTLY!*

Sean, do you own BB media or just stream it? I was wondering because of the "alternate ending" on the bluray. If you haven't seen it, don't worry, it's not an actual alternate ending, takes nothing away from the show's finale, but it's a MUST see for any fan who is familiar with Cranston's work.
I just stream it
I’ve seen the joke alternative ending
@@SeanChandlerPlus yeah, my wife grew up with Malcolm, I did not, and I remember her saying she didn't really appreciate how much range he has as an actor until we watched that clip, and it reminded her of, in her words, the "goofy" Cranston
felina is my favourite breaking bad episode
Something I just thought about in regards to Jessie potentially making better meth than Walt is that Walt the teacher finally broke through to Jessie. Isn't it the intent of a teacher to allow their student to be better then themselves? Just a thought I never before considered, I think Walt is likely happier that Jessie mastered the process.
Gotta be one of the better TV finales of all time. Absolutely iconic.
Easily the greatest show I've ever seen
You are right. Jesse is responsible for Andrea's death, not Walt. Jesse chose to stay in town and not get in the van to start his new life. He just had to get revenge for things in the past. Was it worth trying to take down Walt? Brock's mom is now dead because of him. Smh
I don't know if you've said anything about this before, but are you planning on reviewing House of the dragon?
I did post a review of house of the dragon on my main channel.
Correction:
Walt wanted jesse dead, its Todd's idea to keep jesse alive to cook. And he reveals he was responsible for Jane's death as a final F U to jesse.
Also walt calls Skylar knowing the feds are listening, and plays over the top villian taking all the blame while lowering hers to clear her as much as he can.
A year ago I finished Breaking Bad for the first time.
Masterpiexe
If Walter surviving was ever on the table I’d have loved something like The Irishman. An old decrepit Heisenberg telling his final tale.
When Jesse started crying Infront of Walt because he was sorry for trying to kill him in season 4 made me feel really bad for Jesse, because u know, Jesse was right he should've killed him. But things played out very differently
The thing that disturbes me the most in this show is not the drugs, the deaths it's the American helthcare system. You find out that you are dying and you might not be able to aford the treatment you need to survive. That is so fucked up. I live in Sweden and if you get cancer here you go to the hospital and get the treatment you need and you don't pay anything for it. You might pay for some medication but that might add up to a few hundred dollars. I know this because my wife has had cancer twice and survived. I can't imagine someone you love gets sick and you don't have the money to help them so you just let them die or go into debt that you never will recover from.
Hey Sean, why don't you one day do A top 10 Best TV characters/ Movie characters. And just to diversify the list pick one character from each Universe.
I literally just finished the series for the first time
This show is the best ever in my opinion!
Walt definitely didn't come there to kill Jesse, he very clearly came there to save him from them while killing everybody else.
no he didnt, his intentions was to kill himself, jesse and the nazis
I have to ask do you think it would have been better if season five culminated with Gus Fring still alive? Because the neo nazis weren’t as interesting and imagine if gus, Hank and Walt were all working against each other at the same time, instead of Gus first and then Hank, with the neo nazis added in later.
I wouldn't want that. Seasons 4 and 5 are top tier television, and for that to happen they would have to radically change both seasons. Fring dying is what sets up everything that happens in season 5. It's a totally different season where Walter White isn't the king of crystal meth. The new nazis didn't really need to be interesting. They weren't really walter's enemy until the last few episodes. Walter was his own enemy. They were just the characters in place to step in when walter's world collapsed.
Could've ended with "I won."
THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY FOURTH!
Peak television, Sean have you seen The Boys Season 3 ?
Only the first 3 episodes. Sorry.
@@SeanChandlerPlus that’s okay I was just curious !
If you think that there is nothing bad in the BB universe watch Slippin Jimmy....
Doesn't it have vampires in it or something? So since it's not canon, is it really in the BB universe?
Great video 📸
My only complain is that Jack and his crew are not the best vallains the creators came up with. They are like some random bad guys from some mediocre action movie. No charisma. No interesting aspects we can admire apreciate. They are just nasty bad guys. And the fact the they are neo nazi add nothing to the show.
You gotta remember he hooked up with them to take out Mike's legacy guys in prison. Them being Aryan brotherhood makes sense cuz of the prison aspect. Once walt did buisness with them I knew he F'ed up, anyone with sense will tell you getting involved with the aryans is not a smart move.
