Check the visibility of the pin. Is there a red dot next to it in the object list? No reason why they should disappear just because you have grouped them.
@@willy4740 Make sure you have grouped everything EXACTLY the same way I have. It could be something to do with the Bevel Deformers, though I can't be certain. These do have a habit of making things disappear!

when I put the RightArmHinge and the BottomRightHinge in the RightPin, they disappear, same with the LeftArmHinge and the BottomLeftHinge
