This show was my first exposure to Metallica live and I thought to myself, "that's one of the best bands on the planet." My first lead guitar song was Paranoid and it was a blast. We later played Enter Sandman. So much fun.
Guys for everyone questioning the crowd... HBO professionally filmed this concert and therefore had their sound proponents set up specifically to muffle out the crowd. It was designed for television use as a documentary. The crowd was very, very loud.
This is just one of those videos that makes you smile. I could only imagine a concert like that. Two great bands fricken rocking out. I can't believe that crowd either really i mean come on you are there experiencing some of rocks greatest and you are just sitting there with your thumb up your ass. Ohp golf clap golf clap hooray. Wow I would have been stoked as hell.

I was there and I couldn't believe i'm actually watching Ozzy and Metallica on the same stage doing Black Sabbath's songs... One of the greatest moment of my life... And yeah the crowd pretty much sucked..
