    great video, so many people are obsessed with barbells, dumbells. All you need is a form of resistance

      You need both cable work out and dumbbells work out, one is not going to replace the other, you can even do a few sets with bands to compliment your work out. Lol

    Thanks for showing the workouts on cable. Just started going to the gym, no free weights & this helps on how to use the cable machine, plus some workouts that can use.

    I'm in a hotel that has no free weights, 1 balance ball, 2 assault bikes, 2 treadmills and 1 epic cable machine. And today was the day I learnt the beauty and pain of a cable machine! Def's my go to now!!

    What a time saver! I do calisthenics mixed with resistance bands depending on how many sets I decide which takes 2 hrs just two sets of each excersise of chest, shoulder, and arms...including running in place, jumping jacks, body weight squats, and oblique abs...3 1/2 hrs if I do four sets of all that.At 67 yrs old I'm glad to see your post because I have a bad back for life since 1982 but I push myself to move. Seeing your workout is what I was wanted to at least pace myself now and then...not over do it and then lose interest! In four months I've shown some gains I didn't expect using only half the protein powder intake (1 scoop not 2) and nothing else, but your program is what I need to try real soon, like maybe as intermittent recovery. Stay healthy and Kool! new Sub.

      Hi Doug, thanks for your reply. Just one question relating to cable woodchop. I have decided to stop dumbell side-bend and replace it with woodchop instead. I like to know if I should stick to light weight with high reps (20 per side) or go a little heavy but reduce the repetition? Would like to get your expert opinion on this. Thanks.

    What weight do you recommend starting with? Is there a weight that you shouldnt be lifting with certain exercises?

    • @HybridFitness
      @HybridFitness  10 місяців тому

      That depends on the person doing the exercise. Hard for me to suggest a weight with out knowing where you currently are with other exercises

      @@HybridFitness I have just noticed a lot of these videos don't have a suggestion of weight. You can just say "beginners start with x amount of weight" intermediate start with x amount of weight" or maybe even a tutorial on how to find the starting weight for people that are just getting into the gym.
