Stellar build brother. I watched it with my eldest daughter and it just gave her some ideas. You need to start attaching warnings to your videos. Nice idea to do call outs for the tracks of music we're hearing. Glad to see you guys got some of that snow. I got to use my jackery with a heated blanket to keep my wife toasty.

Finding studs, Magnet actually works pretty well, but if you used that technique of spacing from an outlet and measuring...LOL my house was built in the 60's and that little gem doesn't work because they decided that was a waste of time spacing the studs all the same length.
Haxman is the man, another cool vid man. Btw whenever I setup those pop ups I put extension cords down to bucks filled with sand or just heavy crap. But not real crap. Cheers buddy!

I can tell the year by the trunk face lights added in the facelift and the engine type by the single exhaust exit. As apposed to the v6 dual exhaust.

As a kid in high school, long before computers were a thing everyone had, we learned pencil and paper drafting before we started making projects in wood shop. We'd know all the dimensions and what we needed for the project. As I got older and started repairing boats, it was more like cut it until it fits. Then I learned 3D CAD modeling, so it was back to designing everything first. Now, that I'm inching closer to retirement, sometimes things are planned, drawn up, and built to precision and sometimes they are cut it until it fits. It's like a freaking hamster wheel. 😁
I usually start the design process and then I get impatient and start figuring as I’m building. 😄

Hey, love your vids. Just want to let you know that birds are actually real bad for human lungs and just want to make sure your daughter’s room has some mad good airflow if she’s living with birds. Seen my fair sure of lung disease caused by people cohabitating with birds. To be clear I’m not anti birds or out here trying to get into an online fight!
