Chef Andres is representative of the very best of humanity. He is absolutely selfless and the kindness and compassion he spreads throughout the world is simply amazing. Give this man the Nobel Peace Prize!!
I agree. I didn't think people like this existed anymore. I'm not so jaded as to think there aren't anymore good people out there, but his level of compassion & humanity is on a whole other level that I've not seen in a long time

Been in Ukraine for over a month now doing humanitarian aid work. I express my gratitude to world central kitchen. They make a big difference here. Even fed me a few times

Literally, Chef Andre NAILED it! Our neighbor is on Hospice right now, nurses coming in & out all day long. He was a Pastor,. We're gonna keep their grass mowed and go over & visit and pray & play those old country church songs because we KNOW our neighbors & we know what they need.

He's a successful chef with his own cooking show but he's been doing this WCK for awhile now. They were also in Puerto Rico after the hurricane. This should be an interesting movie. Too bad it's on Disney+. Should be on PBS.

One of the most inspirational books I've ever read was "We fed an Island" by Chef Andres. The story of how he and his crew were among the 1st responders to Puerto Rico after the Hurricane and not only fed all of San Juan but they enlisted Food Truck volunteers to deliver meals all around the island. Most of the Restaurant kitchens were damaged but he had the idea to set up cooking in School Cafeterias to bring food the small towns. He is a genius at logistics and has proven it in disasters all over the world. A true American Hero.
Absolutely moved to tears. What a great, inspirational, leader. Thank you Chef Andrés.

Jose Andres is a shining light of hope for me. JFK said "One person can make a difference, and everyone should try". Jose Andres lives by those words every single day. I have supported his organization for many years, and even though I've never met him, he has changed my life. I see myself and the world differently because of him.
