Yeah but, redstone door makers are an _entirely different_ breed of technical minecraft player. Most TMC players tend to make their design mostly understandable and fixable, while redstone doorists focus on sheer optimization, be their designs being readable or not :P
yea right, it is 1:30 AM out here and im watching this without understanding shit.... the entire video seems like an introduction until i finally see the door working and call it a day
didnt understand a single thing, but hearing your 'uhuhu nice' and 'yoo! that works' when something works is absolutely amazing. Be proud of that door, a LOT of people could never come up with that. Greetings from the community Network :D
To the people who don’t do this type of redstone this door may seem impressive. But the truth is, it’s even better than you think. Gfg dude, peak door making right here.
I would definitely be interested in deep dive door explanations videos on a second channel. There's not really much advanced stuff I could find online on zero-tick doors besides just knowing it or asking around communities so having a good source I could comb through at my own pace is so helpful.
You've gone down in a small part of the history of a part of minecraft, one of the most popular video games in the world. fucking congratulations, insane creation. i dont need to know redstone to know you've done amazing work
You're really improving quickly at video creation, it's good to have truly high quality piston door content after so long also i wonder how many people in the piston door community actually recognise the swearing censor sound from blast processing
I don’t think a lot of people comprehended how insane 140 hours is because we’re so used to seeing big numbers like that. Imagine getting on Minecraft every single day for 4 hours, and even that would take over a month. That’s dedication
I definitely think the 2nd channel for explainers is a cool idea. I make some of my own 0-Tick doors (nothing near this level) and I think having explanations for some of the best 0-tick redstone would be really helpful for learning and getting better. Also, this door is incredible. Great work!
I'd love deep dives into the doors! I'm still learning when it comes to door tech, so seeing the process and understanding how you go about creating one of these things would be so useful. Great video as always!
Your in depth video's with ghost power pistons made me understand redstone enough to fix other peoples farms and redstone and being able to fix my own circuits. I would love to see a series where you would go in depth more (or seperate channel)
For those wondering, the text that flashes at 5:13 says “Ok so in practice this didn’t make the sequence any more difficult so I don’t really know why I said it did. This is because the “storage” pistons for the folds already add the extra block event delay so they’re bound to happen after the pusher.” (edited out typos)
Wow. He uses the bad piggies theme for background and blast processing sound effect every time he curses. And his language use is kinda similar to me. Keep it up man!
I'm pretty decent at what I consider "normal" redstone, but throughout this video I had no idea what was happening most of the time and I loved it! I understand the use of powered rails and logs/leaves and composters, but then I see things in this video like a jukebox and an end portal frame and a lightning rod and I have just no clue! It's crazy and incredible what redstone looks like these days. Subscribed to hopefully learn more!
I would really love having explaining videos. Because I realized I loved 0 tick so much but I still have so many things to learn ! Also I was the guy questioning your about ABBAs in crafty's server and I think it would be more convenient to watch an explaining video that asking question on a discord server.
I would love to see your second channel, I struggle to find some videos about advanced redstone that actually explains things instead of just showing things up. Love your stuff as always !
the text at 5:13 says "Ok so in practice this didnt make the sequenze any more difficult so I dont really know why i said it did. This is because the 'storage' pistons for the folds already add the extra block event delay so theyre bound to happen after the pusher"

This is because The "storage" pistons for the folds already add the extra block event delay so they're bound to happen after the pusher
The amount of times I’ve realized I’ve built something wrong or broken a circuit I thought I could make better only to fail, and then instinctively tried to hit ctrl-z. Best mod
I think it will be really helpfull if you make a video-tutorial "How to become a redstone engineer", where you explain your minecraft setup (mods, couple of most useful commands of these mods) and most usefull redstone components (i mean clocks, special wirings through glass / slabs, noteblocks or target blocks and how to use it etc), how to switch quick slots items list, and maybe provide some intresting challenges for viewers. Something newbee-friendly ❤
Thank you for being my gateway drug for 0 ticks Avogaado, wish there was more online information about them. Banger video too, the compactness with speed is such a pleasant combo
100% make a second channel, a lot of people are scared to take that step due to hits taken to view counts and whatnot, but it's definitely the right way to go. Capture different audiences, get involved in a different editing process and general production pipeline.
5:13 “Ok so in practise this didn’t make the sequenze any more difficult so I don’t really know why I said it did. This is because The ‘storage’ pistons for the folds already add the extra block event delay so they’re bound to happen after the pusher” in case anyone’s wondering
Would really appreciate a second channel with the whole workflow, thought process, references to what components/techniques are beeing used in each step, idealy all with chapters and links in the descriptions to the various smaller things to have a full picture of everything and in general an easier time understanging everything if one wants to go down the huge recursive tree of knowledge (more like a graph but shhh).
I don't play minecraft any more but keeping up with redstone is so inspirational. I'm learning to become a software engineer now because of how much fun I had with redstone as a kid.
damn. this reminds me of that one time that i made a 1x2 door that folds into the wall and was so proud of myself while my friend watched. beautiful mechanics
End portal frames are useful as placeholders while the build is in progress, as they don't conduct power and are unpushable. They are removed before the final build.
You’ve earned what UA-camrs commonly refer to as “Please subscribe if you haven’t already!” Jokes aside, as a person who knows nothing about redstone, this was pretty enjoyable to watch. I’d love to see a second channel with explanations, that would be pretty cool. One question I have is, what songs are used in the video? Do you have a list or playlist you could link/send? If not that’s understandable. Thanks in advance!
Now this is exactly what I expect from a professional redstoner, didn't understand a single word
True lol
Something about doors I guess 😂

You know the redstone contraption is complicated when it has an end portal frame

Technically you can
Pretty sure they can be replaced with furnaces

The way he says "yoo!" Reminds me of technoblade. Rip technoblade 🪦💐
5:08 Man the Bad Piggies construction theme is crazy lol, but I love it, brings back memories.
I was going to comment this
Also fits perfectly
To the people who don’t do this type of redstone this door may seem impressive.
But the truth is, it’s even better than you think. Gfg dude, peak door making right here.
Redstone is the closest thing to actual magic, a human can ever achieve.
This is one of the doors of all times and the redstone wiring is beautiful
I misread "door making" as Doormaxxing so I did a cartoon double-take x>
Seeing the words "peak door making" really puts into perspective how niche this whole thing really is, pretty cool.
