Like Lucy, Felicia was very silly and childlike. Boring to a smart man. Laura was smart and challenged Luke. Intelligence is sexy. Not a dumb blonde. 🤷♀️
@@debikaysims9389 I didn't care for Felicia with Luke either. I just didn't like the mix. She was great with Frisco and more mature-acting with Mac. Still, she was blonde, as was Laura, of course, and even Tammy. There were exceptions, like Holly and Anna. But I think blonde hair would always remind Luke of Laura, the love of his life.
I liked them in the beginning, especially whenever we got to see them dance as we didn't get to see TG's dancing skills much w/GF. That said, I think they probably lasted a year too long.
Stephan is younger, better looking, wealthier, more refined, better educated, better connected, etc. than Luke. Stephan is as interesting and exciting as flattened gum on a sidewalk. Luke is a loving caring bad boy who is much smarter than Stephan. Luke is never ever boring! Whom to choose? Not even a question.
Luke is never boring indeed, but he's not husband or father material by nature either. He could never really adjust to the traditional family lifestyle. Laura loved setting down roots and having children. Luke loved her and his kids, but preferred to take off on a Harley or in a pink Cadillac to a backyard barbecue with the neighbors or a game of catch with Lucky. He grew older, but he never grew up.
Stefan is an "arrogant demanding controlling snob" of a man, he has manipulated and controlled every woman he sought in Port Charles, he has used them either to get back or punish Laura or to "replace Laura" "temporarily", he goes around "asking the servants' to do everything like they are "slaves", he has "Demanded Nickolas do what he says" all the time. Nickolas almost died "twice" because of Stefan's priorities and selfishness. Luke saved Nickolas's life "twice". I'll take Luke any day he is imperfect, human and a tough cookie, but he truly loves and cares about those he loves.
Luke is selfish and self-centered considering how much Laura has forgiven him for some despicable things, the moment she wasn’t willing to relent for him, he was out the door. She has followed him all over the world, left her husband for him after he raped her, abandoned her son twice for him…. But of course he can’t have a forgiving heart… she was 17 when she met him and he became her life… once she finally decided to have her own mind he left her.
Hallelujah! These scenes with Stefan feel all so wrong, they make absolutely no sense for me… I just don‘t get the motivation for this development of the L & L storyline. Despite the estrangement one should feel nonetheless still a connection between the two of them who shared such a long-lasting and intense relationship, but there is none, especially from Luke‘s side who behaves in my opinion really cold towards Laura. One can explain this with men‘s habit to deal with such heavy emotions like grief on their own, but honestly, I don‘t assume the writers to be psychologically so smart. So, is it bad writing or bad acting or something else?
I am not sure how much you know about what happens down the pike, so if you are new to all of this LnL stuff, you have to go through other playlists to see how this plays out. But, still, Stefan was the enemy and Laura is one step short at this point of sleeping with the enemy. If you know the outcome of all of this, then at least you know it isn't all bad in the end, but it still doesn't end up right.
@@betsykeller9096 Stefan isn't the enemy, Helena was. Stefan showed poor judgement when he tried to rescue Lucky. Stefan could never shake off his Cassadine upbringing and criminal mentality. He did the best he could for Laura but wasn't emotionally healthy enough. Sad.
@@ellyreginald6546 I agree that Helena was definitely the root of all this evil. But, Stefan is a grown up and made his choices. When Laura and Luke go looking for Lucky on Cassadine Island, Stefan shows up and would only help Laura open the door to rescue Luke and Felicia if Laura went away with him. When she refused, Stefan walked away and left Laura stranded. He is a petulant child - still wanting to get his way, and a lot of that is what Helena has done to him, and part of that is him being a Cassadine in general. He made his choices, and they usually err on the side of evil.
Speaking too soon. It's in the next segment, sadly. Poor Lesley makes mention of it to him and that's all it took (well that, and a bittersweet flashback of LnL dancing to their song Will You Still Love Me Tmrw) for him to chuck it in the water. 😢
Watch the Stefan and Laura scenes on the Island. It'll give you a better idea of the nature of their connection which was genuine and real. I could see Laura going back there emotionally, remembering what happened. Fact is, Laura did love Stefan once. I'd say Laura was vulnerable, Luke withdrew and Stefan made sure to be available and helpful.
@@ellyreginald6546 I have since watched it and you are so right. It hard cause these episodes aren't in order and takes some time to find some of them.
I love TG and think he's a phenomenal actor. But his character grew very dark and even criminal It really bothered me when he loosened the railing on the parapet to kill Helena. Heaven knows she deserved a cruel fate, but that's murder 1 Lucas L. Spencer. And when Alexis conspired with him, then allowed Stefan to take the blame?!? Sure, she got him acquitted, but she was a more than willing accomplice with Luke. I can't believe she and Luke stooped so low. The writers were really out to criminalize both of them.
Think we can blame Bob Guza for that. Recall people saying the show got darker in the late 90s (no doubt the parapet murder plot was one reason) and not coincidentally Guza had just become the head writer. Sadly this was just the beginning as he would become obsessed with all things mob (Sonny) related.
Anyone else FF past Luke and Felicia scenes?!
Oh yes big time, they are just silly together...uggghhh.
Yes. I fast forward past Felicia scenes. And the ridiculous storyline between she and Luke didn’t help. Ugh.
I swear from 93-00 this was a sob fest! Idk how GF did it! She was crying in virtually every show!
I do not like Luke and Felicia
Actually, I thought they made sense short-term. Lots in common. Liked adventure and exploring. A pretty blond. Not a keeper though.

good to see Lesley back at the hospital

Elizabeth’s lips bother me 😂
I have always thought that, and she still makes those same faces to this day…😂😂
Would rather Lesley had beat the crud out of Stefan....

I noticed Luke never took his wedding ring off.

Lordie. Does Laura ever stop crying?
I mean considering the storyline, it's kind of understandable.
Just wait till she finds out about Luke & Felicia ... Or in other words, not a chance lol
Stefan, ULG. He’s so Evil.
Did They Dye Lu Lu’s hair blonde?
Another one with feelings for laura will it ever end?
