    Genuine Super Sport, verified right in the vin. The 66-67 Novas are good looking cars. They are also little and light, when ordered with the L-79 327-350 you had a factory hot rod.
    EXTERIOR: Great looking car. It does present itself really well. Tough stance, fantastic color and it shines! It will have some imperfections if you look for them, but standing next to it, it's a show car. Straight body, panels and trim fit nice. Paint has a very glossy finish. Upfront the bumper is rechromed, headlight bezels and grill look new. Has correct antenna, the wiper arms are shiny. The stainless moldings around the windows are polished. Trim on top of the doors look new. Door handles, emblems and mirror look new. Lower moldings look new. In back the tail lights and bumper look new. The original tail panel is detailed real nice. Has 14x7 rally wheels in excellent shape. BFG tires are in excellent condition. The door jambs are glossy and clean. The weather strips are original and brittle, windshield has some wiper marks. Still a fantastic looking car.
    INTERIOR: I really like the interior. Love the bucket seats with the white stripe down the middle and has very rare headrest option. Cushions feel good, the upholstery is excellent. The carpet been replaced, it even has embroidered SS floor mats. The door panels and armrests look new. The headliner is excellent and tight. Has the GM seat belts front and back. Factory center console is good original. Dash area is nice original shape, factory am radio. Has a wood grain deluxe steering wheel.
    ENGINE COMPARTMENT: I really like what I see under the hood- a 327-350 horsepower motor. It's all detailed up to beautifully. Has the double hump heads, GM aluminum high rise intake, Holley carb, chrome dual snorkel air cleaner, the correct chrome valve covers. That's a very potent and desirable engine to have in a little Nova. The firewall is painted blue and all the components look restored. The inner fenders and radiator support are all smooth metal painted gloss black from a spray gun. Has proper fan shroud, correct style hose clamps, GM heater hoses. It even has the Delco battery topper with spring clamp cables. Bottom of the hood is satin black with hood insulation. It features power steering Everything is proper- the washer bottle and squirters are hooked up, wiring is tidy. It has power steering.

    The Nova, and the Chevelle, my favorites. I had a 1966 Chevelle Malibu, Sports Coupe. Not just the standard, it had extras, but did not have the big block motor. Mine had the 327 - 4 barrel Manchester carb, I think it was rated 270 HP. Not the small block monster, but, it put you back into the seat at launches. Nothing but fun, all day long.

      One of my best friend's older brother Carl(Bordelon) bought one in '66 or '67 new. It was not an SS, but had factory stick shift 3 speed and the 327. It had very decent - but not serious - performance. His had 275 factory
      rated horsepower if my memory serves me. He took me for a spin and I was moderately impressed back in the day, as I was just a kid of around 15 or 16. It had all the hallmarks of a grandma car on the exterior but performed quite a bit more than an average car and I was impressed by it's overall sportiness. Don't know whatever happened to that car, as this was over FIFTY years ago!

      Dale Andrews - mine originally had the 3 speed on the floor, we put in a 4 speed trans out of a wreaked Corvette. Muncie 4 speed with a Hurst Shifter. Mine was a 2 door, Navy Blue, 6” Crager SS wheels in the front, Mickey Thompson’s with 8” Crager Wheels in the back. Air shocks to raise the back end, the Mickey Thomsons were wide tires. And yes, it was a Sports Coupe, not just a Malibu, a Malibu Sports Coupe, wicked without being SS Chevelle. Never forget that car, sold it and bought a 71 Z28, 350ci, 350hp. That Z28 ran 12.70 in the 1/4 mile, 106MPH.

      327 with the extremely rare 4 barrel Manchester carb made in England instead of the Rochester carb made in the US lol.

      I'll second that! It was called "Marina Blue". It was stunning on a C3 Corvette fastback, as I knew a middle aged doctor in my small town of Dequincy, LA that had one back then. The interior was the same color, which made for a good impression.

      $1995.00 with 275hp, 327cu in. & 4 speed transmission. Bench seat vice bucket seats. Technically, the 275 hp 327 was the largest available in '67, but some 350s made it out the door. Also, in 1967 it was still a Chevrolet Chevy II Nova; the Chevy II moniker was dropped for the 1969 model year in 1968.

    Why should people go to another site for price

    • @VoloMuseumAutoSales
      @VoloMuseumAutoSales  4 роки тому

      A slightly techy answer is because UA-cam doesn't dynamically receive & update video descriptions when we make changes in our dealer backend. So keeping track of ~250-300 prices at our peak and when/if they need to be updated manually would be exhausting. This is unlike all our other 3rd party websites we advertise on(Hemmings, AutoTrader ect..) that pull all this information automatically and dynamically from our backend system where we can make the change once and have it reflected everywhere else.
      Maybe we can look at developing something to automate this process for our UA-cam channel in the future.

      We price our vehicles at what we think they're worth and what the market is willing to pay. If the interest & buyers aren't there, we'll reduce it. We have a deposit on this at the moment with many other interested parties waiting.

    This car is a fake. The motor doesn't idle lumpy enough to be an L79. And if it was an L79 it would have came with a 4 sp handshaker, not a power slide automatic like this car has.
