Five minutes in, and I can already tell Boogie is just going to lie his way through this.
Just finished the video. Overall, Boogie hasn't changed in the slightest. He still embellishes the details of his stories, denies allegations towards him despite any evidence to proving that he's lying, but the worst is his overall defeatist attitude towards himself. Its insulting everytime he brings up his mental health as an excuse for his behavior consistently, but never details how he is trying to improve. It sounds less like a person struggling with their mental and physical health, and more like someone making excuses for trying to not improve. I think everyone can empathize with Boogie's story, but people aren't dumb and they can see when you're trying to mislead them.

Boogie is incapable of taking accountability. If there's no one to blame in a situation, he plays the mental health card (I have PTSD, I was disassociating, I have anxiety) or simply plays the "I'm an idiot" / "My brain doesn't work so good" card. For someone who acknowledges that they're an idiot, he sure does spend a great deal of time trying to twist around all of the criticisms levied at him. Perhaps getting off social media or distancing himself from the internet is the best course of action, but no. I deal Major Depressive Disorder & I can understand Boogies lack of accountability & self-depracation but if he's really going to therapy I 150% doubt his therapist is enabling his behavior. He keeps saying him & the therapist "agree" on his blaming his shit behavior on XYZ & that makes me doubt hes seeking any form of therapy whatsoever. Therapy is all about self-accountability. Once you stop playing the woah is me all the time & start taking steps to get better mentally, you quickly realize that your your own worst enemy & tend to blame all your faults on other people/things.

He's probably required to go to anger management/therapy for his felony probation, but there's no way he could benefit from therapy. He has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, you can't really treat that.
The therapist would ask why he lies and manipulated and offer to fix it, and he would not ever admit to being the person he really is.

If he's the one reaching out and making the initial contact then HE should be the one to bring up the points of discussion instead of expecting you to have questions for him. Add that to the fact that he didn't even bother to actually WATCH your video about him, he's reacting to it based on tweets he's seen from others about it and he himself having just skimmed it. How he still has any fans left that support his decisions and behavior is a true mystery.

I don't watch Boogie enough but he sounds like a covert narcissist, it's too long to describe but it does make sense since he lies so much, he always victimizes himself and he always deflects all blame, notice that he never attributes his faults to himself, it's always "my messed up brain", "autism", "low IQ", etc. It's always things that he can't control, it reminds me of how Chris Chan says that his only fault is having autism (which means he would be perfect without it).
Being a covert narcissist almost makes sense in the context of him being abused as a child, since narcissism is created during childhood when the abused child suffers some sort of abuse which makes him replace the real self with an omnipotent false self, that way the abused child escapes the feelings of impotence by creating a personality that is omnipotent (like escaping to a fantasy world). Boogie is always fishing for compliments, lying and manipulating people around him to get what he wants, it makes sense that he is a covert narc for what I have seen of him, but as I said I haven't watched him a lot since I'm not that interested in this obese pathetic manchild.

I've known people who've done that in the past - it's them attempting to force getting what they want under the threat of self harm if otherwise. Something I learned as a young woman when I was in my 20s is that you cannot use your mental illness, your past traumas or the any of the shitty cards you were dealt in life as an excuse to not grow. If you constantly use your shortcomings as a crutch you will never mature. Everyone has shit EVERYONE is treated unfairly in some way or another. This grown ass man will never take responsibility for his own actions. He doesn’t want to change. He will never change.

Christ, the abundance of smarm just drips from every syllable out of Boogie's mouth. You can tell he thought this was some 'got'cha!' moment, where he was going to subtly rip Tom a new one, while simultaneously keeping up his poor, 'woe is me' persona but it's obvious to anyone with half a brain that he was trying to trap Tom. Asking him crap like if he was racist, etc. It's hilarious how much Boogie fumbles on the 'good guy' act, now that he's in such a desperate struggle to keep his head above whatever. He will act in any possible way that gets him the most attention. At this point, I don't even think Boogie knows who he is anymore.
