The Excalibur is multi frequency BBS the other machines are single frequency ,and about as much good as a chocolate fire guard in comparison with Excalibur on wet salt sand and in the salt water ,even the Equinox has reduced depth because you have to use a factory setting ,with reduced sensitivity and GB the other machines are land machines ,good in fresh water then so is the Garrett Ace 150

As always, very nice video. Unfortunately my makro multi kruiser is nowhere near as stable on or near the water line at the beaches here on the west coast of the United States. I have tried pretty much every setting imaginable, as my coil hits the water or goes under the water it is a constant assault of beeps. the only way to get it to settle down anywhere near as quietly as yours is to drop the gain so low I can barely pick up a test coin at 3" in the wet sand. I do not believe the machine is malfunctioning. I have had it in freshwater without issue and in parks and schoolyards with zero problems. It has got to be the black sand, we have so much of it on our beach it's almost impossible to get the cruiser to even ground balance, when you do the number can be anywhere from 12 or 13 all the way up to 70 or 80. I manually run the number back down to zero but it hasn't helped. In the dry sand and moist sand it is okay but as soon as I hit the very wet sand on to the water line and into the water forget it. I sure wish I could figure something out as it was purchased primarily to hunt the Beach but I'm just guessing the developers of the kruiser weren't expecting to tackle beaches with so much black sand perhaps.

Hi, I have a question, my quest still has the alarm like when you approached your salt water. what can I do because the knife responds to regulation and the alarm is still playing?

You get what you pay for ,it’s the only beach machine there the rest are crap I’ve had two Excalibur’s and you can adapt them with after market shafts you can even hip mount them , this bloke who’s making this video isn’t the best has to be said ..
