Hey Eric, Nice detailed overview. I have this pack but didn’t have this video and the 360 lash system was so fiddly I put it away until now. But it was user error on my part. Just need to position it 90deg on the 360 lash, press the clip and angle it (with some force) and it comes off more easily. As for when zipping the main compartment and catching onto the internal lash point, I just added a Maxpedition grip zipper and it pulls more smoother without getting caught. It is listed at 4.27lbs or 1.95kg which is usually a heavy pack but for some reason the harness system is good that I don’t feel it. Whereas for the PD 45l pack, you definitely feel it when loaded. I would say if Boundary improved the water bottle, 360 lash system, zippers, etc, this is a good option. Where the nipples (lack of better term) is next to the laptop compartment, if you don’t have the field space, you can add the port kit or new tech roll when you have more tech or toiletry gear in the back. I think Boundary needs to do more user guide videos like you guys are doing as for me, this is a under-rated pack.
I might be in the minority here but these long super detailed videos can be a little frustrating when you want a quick overview of the bag to see if it's suitable before getting into the details about zipper pulls etc. A 2 minute overview of pockets and straps at the beginning of the video would be really nice rather than constantly skipping through to see if the layout is what I'm after
Really liking all the Eric videos! Detailed reviews and he talks about everything I wanted to know about the bag
I'll pass your comment along to Eric, Tan! We're lucky to have him aboard.
