Austin Ridge Riders - Trail Workday: "The Bowl" at Brushy Creek

It was a pleasure to meet Ronan and join Austin Ridge Riders for a trail workday at Brushy Creek in Cedar Park. The work involved clearing organic matter from the trail surface, checking for punji sticks, blocking the old bypass, and hauling a ton of stone with the rock dolly.
The trail received the final approval from the county and will open February of 2022. Once it is active, riders will be able to bypass a heavily trafficked pedestrian sidewalk and get a lot more smiles from the flowing berms in this swoopy ribbon of dirt.

One end is one the jeep road close to the BCRT and the other is at the intersection of Bob Ross and The Rim Trail.
