We Survived a Tornado in Bentonville
Clip dump from my trip to Arkansas with Clint, Taylor and Scott. Clint unlocked the drop on Cease and Desist, I unlocked the Hammer. We all got a chance to hang out with some MTB all stars at the YT Mill in Bentonville for the premiere of "Villin". Unfortunately a tornado hit the NWA region causing a lot of damage and a few deaths. We cut the trip short but not before having one hell of a time! Shoutout to Clint for helping with Footage!

Last weekend he was at Spider Mountain to start the Team Trail Party Klunkerz downhill race. What light is that? I'm near sw austin and getting back into riding. I got smoked last week on my hard tail by an older guy, i'm surprised I didn't get a flat running tubes. I'm tubeless now on a new ebike and want to try this trail. I know there's a ride tonight but I don't have a light yet. Is the tues night ride mostly pavement? If so I'll have to put some more psi in my tubeless 27s.
Were can i find ppl to ride with in Austin or georgetown tx.i moved to Georgetown 7mths ago and i hit the trails by my self would be awesome to ride with other ppl
@@freddyescamilla5978 I’d recommend looking up Austin Ridge Riders! We do a regular Sunday AM ride at Walnut Creek and a Saturday monthly ride at different locations

What’s a good resource to follow to be notified about these jams when they’re announced?
I think the best option is to follow accounts like Burn Slow and Empire BMX on social media. It's intended to be sort of a spur of the moment in the know deal. Otherwise, I have an events page on mtbatx.com which will have any events that I am aware of from XC and Enduro racing to BMX jams and build days.

Walnut is doing great, and the other spot is called Best Side Trails aka East Austin Bike Park.

I have been trying to see which of the SATN I can ride on Trek Domane running 32mm slicks with some extra puncture proof rubber thickness (but basically road tires). It's a surprising amount. I can't get an MTB because Austin traffic is so horrific I have not even registered my car in 6mo so I can only access trails via e-bike as I have to bike to get there. I know there is a big wide gravel path suitable for my bike between Escarpment and the weird place south of the theater near the mopac bridge where a ton of of paved paths, granite paths, and single track all converge (where you can either go under the bridge and go to the veloway / VCT or go south to get to lacross and access veloway from paved trails (or go left back to escarpment on LaCrosse) so I have been wondering how do-able these trails are on a rigid bike. Seems like you can still do a decent amount with a rigid bike so I think I will look for some 38mm gravel tires soon and give these a try. Much of the Austin "singletrack" is do-able just fine on an adventure bike with maybe 2-3 dismounts per mile. What's funny is I've gotten dozens of flats riding on the paved surfaces around Austin, but not gotten a single flat taking my road bike on SATN singletrack.

@@Sr.406 No, I would say that you are going to spend most of your time pedaling at Walnut instead of the other way around, but there are some flowy bits for sure.
