True
They don't see it coming down.
remember this is how we lost jobs in Uganda in Nakumatt super market in 2017.. I was in Hipora business solutions Uganda..
Nostalgia. Fist it was Uchumi, then Nakumatt then Tusky's. What a sad story of this giant.

I have liked n subscribed, I used to admire this supermarket in kla , that’s where my wealthier cousin used to shop when going back to schl .
I enjoyed turkey in Mukono Uganda. They had ready and good food I could take it after work.
Family and business never mixed
Tell that to Indians
The first shopping card,I owned was Tuskys before it collapsed with all my shopping points, but still I had kept it as a souvenir😂

I made sure to shop at Tusky's whenever I was in Kenya. A sad ending to a once large retailer.

One generation build. The next generation expands. The next generation throws it all away. In this case, the second generation blowed it all.
The money maker, the caretaker and the undertaker.
@@Louis_Mugandaif education lacks in the caretaker, the empire will definitely fall
It's just a characteristic of Private owned businesses, continuity is always a challenge when the business founders die.
The next generation starts from scratch in abject poverty

I learnt how to make sweet potato bread after their closure. They had alot of creative staff.
