Of course it's our man Sowinski doing the pacing. instructed to do a 1 :52 800 pace and sure enough crosses the 809.34m mark in a perfect 1: 54.

Kejelcha seemed so fresh at the end. Even managed a jump for joy. Did someone mention Salazar?

    Doped !!
All Salazar athletes have been struggling since he got suspended. A lot of them got injured since they cannot recover quickly from their races or workouts.

if anyone has ever ran a 200m, 27 seconds isnt slow at all, its a flat out sprint for even reasonable athletes...and they did this or faster for EACH lap.

27 seconds over 200m is more like the speed of a high school girl.

Amazing chop off the old world record....that stood so long. Amazing performance by Kejelcha. He better get to NYC as fast as humanly possible to get the required test so the record stands. I will be very interested to see what he does in the outdoor mile now...hope he goes for a low time in that too. Sincere congrats Kejelcha.

Having two Pacers up front and one on the side for half the race I helped a lot.

He would’ve been a tiny faster if he didn’t have to go into lane 2 to pass the pacer at 3:15

Would love to see him make a comeback. Poor guy in a lot of longer races has ended up acting like a rabbit and dragged people to some fast 3k and 5k times.

This was so unfair. They let him have a head start and helped him along the way. They put an extra man on the right so he could not go wide. It seems Kejelcha is not smart enough to stay inside. This is a tainted record and not one for which to have pride.
