Dear Flotrack and every other camera and production crew who covers track. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. Don't just show the winner of races after they pass the tape and follow them walking around, smiling, panting, spitting, shaking hands etc. Keep the camera on the finish line to watch other people in the race finish. Unlike the people who decide where to point the camera, people who watch these races are interested in more than just who won the race. You can cut back to the winner after others finish if you believe the audience really appreciates the kiss and cry moments. Plenty of time to focus the camera on the winner later, but especially for races like a mile or an 800M where you only have to keep the camera on the finish for another couple of seconds, let the audience see how the rest of the races shakes out. Other than the Olympics and World Championships, most races aren't just about gold, silver and bronze and even in those events, people would like to see the competition more than just a camera following around someone after they finish. Signed. Everyone.
