I got to say you sir are the best loader operator i have seen..and I've sat in the seat many times and seen some great operators in my days but you are the best I've seen..
As a forklift driver for 20 years of my career including freight distribution yards, you get the centre of gravity for lifting awkward vehicles right every time, that’s not easy as you make it. Love watching how someone experienced approaching loads. Love to see these vehicles being saved, I know a lot still will be crushed but can see you save anything of value and not just think of the dollars you will get for the steel.
I really like all of it. I really like watching you working with the loader. It is amazing to watch what you can do with the loader. I really like watching you go thru the old cars & trucks. Great videos!👍🦸🛻🚜
Buying - Selling and Crushing - man - You have been Busy indeed as it is soooo interesting to see what You do during the Day!! Free Firewood and why not ! All Trucks were my Favorite and You will preserve them and find a new Home for them - that's whats soooo Good about it ! Many cheers from Australia !!!!....
Wow, looks like a ton of customers are loving the trucks and SUVS you have! It looks like they're all going to a good home! I hope the 64 Impala won't get parted out for a 2 door, that was a solid car that runs!
Silas you make great videos , I could watch them all day and never tire . Thanks for all your hard work and patience . I think I saw you unload an old Buick or a mercury I'm areal sucker for that body style . God Bless you and yours , till next time ....Stuart in Ontario , Canada not California ................................
It's great to see all those cabs going to new homes be restored. You need a medal for recycling. Maybe one of those ecoillogical spouting politicians will give you one!
Fred Jones had 10 successful dealerships in Oklahoma. He was friends with Henry Ford so I imagine he had his blessing for the logo. It's amazing to think of all the vehicles from yesteryear- you can't save them all but you can cherish the memories. I enjoy your videos even though they do make me crazy watching you going ten ways to Sunday. Oh to have multiple Silases 😂 Stay safe and GOD bless
I must say I am a bit jealous of all the cool rigs you get to work with. Glad to see some of that old iron moving on to help with someone’s project. Thanks for sharing your time and adventures with us. Peace
Is side shift an option for the forks on your loader? Our forklift has it and it adds more dexterity for the operator. Your program is one of my favorites. You should challenge Vice Grip and Pole Barn Garages to come down pick a rig and see who can get it running and driving the fastest and furthest. The 3 of you together would be very entertaining
* Caught ya Silas ! The Pilot House Dodge Truck Cab Is The One With The Window That Goes All The Way Across The Back. Not the 5 window cab which was the stock cab. I own a 55 C3H Custom Cab Pilot House with The Hemi. It's the 171" wheel base with an all steel M37 troop carrier bed the previous own made.
Actually pilot house refers to all 48-53 Dodge B series trucks and is a reference to a taller cab than the previous style with larger windows. Dodge dropped the “pilot house vision” slogan for the 54-56 C series trucks, although many people still call them pilot houses due to their similarity to the B series.
I have the original Cab brochure here in front of me Silas and it states : New Dodge Truck Pilot House cabs. Give you Full-circle visibility. You will drive better because you see better ! New wrap around windshields ... New wrap-around rear window etc. I'd be happy to take some pictures of my brochures if you have an email I can send them to. Anyway love your channels man !!!
Man you have a lot of nice old cars and trucks I could have a field day If I had what you have because I am a truck guy specially a Chevy guy but I am known to like all old vehicle
The international crew cab is very cool, glad it went to a good home. I also liked the blue Blazer from the trees as well as the rest of the old ones. Newer cars and trucks may have collector value but they aren’t what I focus on
I think I prefer that flat faced truck over the older curvy ones. You can use the nose as a sort of table and put lights in the headlights that have a motion sensor in them. Cool video as usual. That pulley is awesome!
I know its a newer car but I always loved those late 80s early 90s pontiac Grand prixs and thunderbirds!😢 hope that impala gets Restored or turned into a lowrider!😎👍 I love 4doors! And the roundeye squarebody and international scout
Oh man oh man, you should have contacted Puddin from Pott Co. Oklahoma about that blue International crew cab, I'm pretty sure he would have bought that from you. 😁
You have a burgundy and brown first Gen dodge in your videos that matches a dually I have. I need the tailgate but might be interested in buying the entire truck. Love your channel. I have my own @Epiccars. Really enjoy your adventures. Thanks.
Dear Mr. Silas. 👍👌👏 Maaan, a lot of content in this video! Very well done again! Your yards seem to run great. Congratulations! Hope you will be able to crush some more cars until the scrap metal prices drop again. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all of you.
* I don't have to tell ya Silas cause you know better then anyone but when you think that every vehicle on your lot has had so much money involved in it's life. From purchase to repair bills to resale. People did so much to keep these vehicles usable till they go to you ...
When I was in high school one of my buds dad ran a 67 Camaro in the SCCA Trans Am series. They had a mid 60s 4 door Dodge pickup for towing the race car and hauling the pit crew.
Back in the seventies I used to work in a breaker's yard in south Wales. The boss had a similar expression: "You can't keep them all". We used to concentrate on dismantling and dealing in parts rather than crushing whole vehicles. Back then many mechanical and electrical parts were interchangeable between different model and often between different makes, unlike today's single-model components.
I always liked the SuperCoupes too, even as a chev...once, chevy guy. Got some parts off an 80 malibu today, found some pennies and other small change, and thought that was pretty cool. Peace all, from 🇨🇦
It would be nice if the dates were on there. But these scenes are filmed out-of-order sometimes. Did you notice how that mercury was complete at the beginning of the episode and the last clip you put in the back of it was cut off? Which he had already showed another episode when it was cut up
When pulling wheels with the loader, does that strip the threads on the wheel lugs? Some power there! The 64 Chevy Biscayne was my favorite. Might it be worthwhile to come in on a weekend, lock the gate, and crush all the rusted and wrecked heaps? Another interesting video, Silas!
It is great to see all the old iron finding new homes. And it is great seeing modern junk getting crushed. Just stacking up the money is what I am seeing. For other wall hangers. Fronts and rears off of Fox Body Mustangs and Rangers are becoming more popular as well. Just an idea for ya.
Fred Jones in ford script would be no issue to FoMoCo, they were best of buddies, Fred Jones ran a rebuilding operation supplying Ford Dealers with "Fred Jones" Ford Authorized remanufactured parts and engines.
I'm a Dodge guy. I would love to be able to take that old crew cab Dodge and buy it from you and fix it up and get it running but that's not going to happen.
Very Nice Silas 53 ford farm truck

silas thank you for your reply. ive watched every one of your videos.
Love all of the old ford trucks.
My personal one was the scout. Have a blessed day.
It's great to see all those cabs going to new homes be restored. You need a medal for recycling. Maybe one of those ecoillogical spouting politicians will give you one!
When are you having an auction? 😊

I was in love with that 56 or 57 Ford stepside red pickup...,
Great Job saving those old Trucks and Cars from the Shredder ! You are becoming well known as the guy to go to for old Trucks and Cars.
Nice video my brother
Great video. Love the Packard.
I must say I am a bit jealous of all the cool rigs you get to work with. Glad to see some of that old iron moving on to help with someone’s project. Thanks for sharing your time and adventures with us. Peace
My favorite truck in this video is that last one, the Ford 600.
Interesting cab design.
Does anyone else look at junk yards like this and think I could make that place pretty secure if the zombie apocalypse happens lol.
Stayin tuned!
🤠👍👍👍👍

Fred Jones (emblem on red 65 Ford), was a dealer in Oklahoma City. I believe he also sold remanufactured engines and other parts.
Amazing so much of this stuff is out there.

It looks like the "Old Trucks Biz ness" is picking up! Save more!
Those old 5 lug 20 inch wheels make good bases for grinder stands.
Or perhaps other creative furniture for a garage/shop/man cave
My favorite was the red International long box that was loaded on the yellow tilt trailer about 22:30 minutes in. Looks like a nice old truck !
Nice another Dodge truck channel... Subbed..
That yellow IH Travelette might be something for the 406 Garage on UA-cam.
Wow, seeing your productive day, wish i could accomplishthat much in a day or a week, Great video, Thumbs up
Silas, you are such a worker-bee. I admire your energy.

Silas is it possible to include the actual date you and others film the vids ? 👍👍👍👍👍
It would be nice if the dates were on there. But these scenes are filmed out-of-order sometimes. Did you notice how that mercury was complete at the beginning of the episode and the last clip you put in the back of it was cut off? Which he had already showed another episode when it was cut up
crew cab for sure

N600. If I wasn't all the way up here in Maine I would be handing you $$ for that
The 53 Ford, that was an anniversary truck and the last of the flat head engines in the F100 series. The horn button is marked noting this.
I had a blazer just like that
Always amazes me how you can find specific cars in the maze of roads in your yard. 😅

Green swepline would be perfect for 12 valve and modern interior
Excellent as always from Pennsylvania
The IH was my favorite to 😊
🇨🇦 great video, as always 😊
Like the Ford 600
I'm a Dodge guy. I would love to be able to take that old crew cab Dodge and buy it from you and fix it up and get it running but that's not going to happen.
If I had to guess I'd say that speedometer goes on a 8N tractor with overdrive. 😂 Great video as always.
Salis that was great really enjoyed it there is always so much going on there great job can't wait for next video thank you.
My favorite was the red 3/4 ton International pickup!
I was glad to see that one found a home so quickly! Looks like a really good one to bring back.
How many crushed cars can you move or balance at once😢
The smoleans keep rolling in....
Hey Sal do have some ford lightning trucks
Another great video!
Good video
Working on a 1950 F6. Is that 58 Ford front axle worth a swap to get off my widow makers? Looking for 88" outside tire to outside tire.
Ah Ya I Pretty Much Like Them All 🙄😀😜
Great job. Love this type of content.
