On the current tyre model, the top doesn't save tyres. The only time you want to run the high line is if its demonstrably faster or you're loose and need to burn the right front off for balance. Especially at Texas, you would have been losing so much time on t1 running that line and you would have been killing your rf. Funny part is you actually drove a really great managing race up there, if you drove like that further down you would have been way up the field (or caught in a wreck, but still)
Yeah, just way too tight, should have been way looser in 3/4 so we could turn through one and two. Oh well, didnt change where I would finish, just getting bored of super tight sets
Different car and not fixed but I won an Xfinity open race there running that middle/high line in 1 and 2 and then Harvicking 3 and 4 until late then moved to the middle.
Just realized you asked why i lost my car at t4 xD. didnt understand it earlier. BTW, said it later that the spotter lied to me here, maybe because of blinking idk. My mistake ofc, but it`s only me who got L after that.
Ran this three times this week in the 3rd split and landed 1st twice. I run the low line the whole time, but the line you ran seems to have the advantage the first 10 laps or so. You mentioned Gavin’s run but I couldn’t find his upload, I was hoping to see another perspective. Was it removed or just not uploaded yet?

i did this race yesterday and to be fair i am IR of 2300 but i saved way to much tire. also what over lay do you use?
