    Important to note - this is the exact moment law enforcement dropped the ball. Instead of getting every detail about every crime (couriers/Koenigs not withstanding) they got nothing of significance, grieving relatives got no closure and society at large lost the best opportunity in the anals of crime to study an eloquent monster. Shameful.

      With extremely manipulative ppl like keys u could have him in custody for the rest of his life and he still wouldn’t tell you anything he didn’t want to be known he only corporated with police to get control and privileges

      You know the fire he admitted to setting in Alto (actually Aledo) Texas before the last bank robbery. The fire investigation states that 2 structures were burned. A single story dwelling and a metal shack/bldg - 40 YARDS AWAY. That is creepy. He took someone there...
      There's a video of the fire on youtube and the sounds it makes honestly i think might actually make me believe in Hə|L. It sounds like the doors to the underworld have been thrown open and you can hear them all down there. Its the most unsettling thing I've ever heard. To think what might have happened to someone there....

      He actually said he got his ideas for people while hunting and fishing. People kill animals before they kill humans. Just saying. People with compassion for sentient life don't fish for relaxation. Even though it's considered normal by most people. He killed to regulate his mood.

      @ That’s interesting as well. I may be 💯 incorrect. …It seems that Keyes just doesn’t respond to anyone trying to dictate the conversation but himself (to your point). I sensed the ‘main cop’ felt the same way. That equals a failure to get the info that they wanted from Keyes. I wish he had have left and told himself that the main goal is to obtain Keyes’ info. How can one get him to spill?

      Were the best? If you idolize these monsters you’re mentally extremely unwell. Seek help from a therapist. Glorifying and romanticizing murderers isn’t normal behavior. There’s some deep unhealed trauma within you that makes you attached to these type of people.

    • @INTJ91
      @INTJ91 8 місяців тому +11

      She was definitely too trusting. She had MULTIPLE attempts to escape and they would undoubtedly have worked, but she acted on the faith that he would let her go once he got his ransom. Naive, but she was very young.

      It's a shock respose and not necessary tied to age.
      Some let you live because you go along, others want you to fight meaning there is no right or wrong. What determines your survival is in their twisted mind so how's one to know what to do? The Curriers fought but it didn't help. And hinsight is 20/20 we know his intentions and that he's a serial killer, she didn't.

    • @Jeremy_the_bot
      @Jeremy_the_bot 8 місяців тому +5

      @@Sookielein omg some of what you are saying is a little crazy. I think you would acknowledge that the couple that fought back was totally different. That man could have escaped without fighting. But he wasn't gonna leave his wife. He was bringing his fists to a gun fight.
      And all the red flags were there for Sam. Man pointed a gun st her and kidnapped her. She knows statistically her chances were low. To believe a word the man said once he stuck a gun in her face was incredibly foolish. Her brain didn't kick on until she was out of opportunities to survive.

    • @Sookielein
      @Sookielein 8 місяців тому +22

      @@Jeremy_the_bot Again the response to threat is fight, flight or freeze and unfortunatly you don't get to choose.
      Calls me crazy and blames a young girl for her death...No Israel Keyes is to blame, no one else.

      @Jeremy_the_bot 8 місяців тому +2

      @@Sookielein I know that shes not to blame. How did you get that out of what i said? I'm coming from the perspective of being dissapointed in her. She was granted so many opportunities that victims usually don't get.
