Today was my first time riding a jet ski and weather condition was exactly like this .. angry water .. it was so hard to control especially when the big waves hit ... I choosed the worst time .. but didn't fell after all .. it was really scary cuz a guy was next to me got hit by a big wave .. and it wasn't easy going back to his jetski .. i took him to it .. cuz it got far from where he fell .. i learned my lesson lol never ride in conditions like this even tho is an adrenaline rush 🤙🏼
I'll admit, the decision to go jetskiing in these conditions is quite questionable to say the least, but that said it was really exciting and intriguing to watch none the less!
Literally the worst jet ski driver in history. So many things wrong. Going sideways into waves, getting on wrong (should be getting on from the back, not the side or you risk flipping it again), full throttle into waves (hence why you nearly did a backflip, let off the throttle as soon as you're about to go over it). Silly man, you really shouldn't go out in those conditions when you're that inexperienced.
Wow!!! As a legit semi pro surfer as well as a fisherman and boat enthusiast I can assure you this man has NO BUSINESS on a a watercraft much less in these conditions

StayLifted420 absolutely mate, I have 4 years of experience out in the surf and I never go out there by myself, even now. He took waves side on, and going back into shore tried to go over a messy break. In calm conditions capsizing isn't the worst thing that could happen but this surf is unpredictable and powerful. I have taken beginners out there a fair bit and 4 out of 6 times they capsized purely from not understanding the surf and momentary lapse of awareness. You were lucky.
Will Terry believe me when I tell you that ain't dangerous that's just Jupiter Inlet in Jupiter Inlet is dangerous where I live I've taken WaveRunners out in waves that * 5 easy if not bigger but they were big ass three-seater WaveRunners and me and my brother both had our own so they're like little rocket boats LOL and hard to flip and let me tell you I fell off that b**** several times that day

Looks like you got turn around out there. Good thing you didn't hit the reef south of the rocks. Definitely some fun to be had. Glad you dint lose your go pro.
Some of the most fun I've had on my GTR 215 is right after storms have gone through the area. I've not, and won't, go out in seas that rough without a spotter boat and a couple of fellow skiers, but the most fun to be had is in rough water IMO. For me, 5-8' waves are plenty.
The rider should give a shout out to the make and model of the jet ski. For sure, without the motor restarting it could have been an issue but the jet ski proves that it is waterproof. Good footage of what it was like out there.

This guy has a deathwish. I get super nervous when I'm skiing on a lake and see a storm approaching. Couldn't imagine the terror in this while alone in a hurricane. That waterbox was sure doing a good job on this seadoo.
Been in similar conditions. It pretty scary on a jet ski. I was heading straight into waves and got completely covered by the following wave. At that point I turned around and headed in. Later I learned to take waves at 45 degrees vs 90. Much much safer! Glad you made it okay!
As a long time boater (new to PWCs), the wave wisdom is just what you said: don't hit the wave head on, hit it at an angle. I've heard it called "quartering".
That st lucie inlet can be super rough sometimes. If you want some nice jumps wait until a nice day when there's good near shore swells, go south about a half mile out of the st lucie inlet. Let me know if you want some company.
