An idea for KH Talks would be how the transition from the solo games (i.e. 358/2 Days, CoM/ ReCoM, Coded/ Recoded) to the 1.5 and 2.5 games changed how they played and or are no longer playable but only viewable via cutscenes, and by doing so you no longer get the entire story from that game. Or something like that, just an idea is all.
I'd like to see you talk about various i-frame mechanics. Guard vs Reflect vs Limits vs Reaction Commands, and how they shape up to other action games parry, deflect, etc. Basically I want to see how you feel about Sekiro :P
Re: The Cups, I think KH2's feel worse not because whats put into them is worse, the KH2 Cups honestly have More going for them by having variety gimmicks that encourage exploring your tools(I don't like Time Trials in 1 but the Solos were cool), but rather because what you can put out is so much greater, Mob Mulching is not a particularly difficult ask even for Lv1 Sora, a bit tedious perhaps, but there's very little risk of dying to most of the mob rounds in KH2, meanwhile in KH1 blowing up mobs is at the very least a challenge of positioning early on, even when you one-shot everything you still have to actually chase them down or lob magic, so it feels more engaging... or more tedious, there's also the factor that you Got EXP in KH1 so the return on investment felt a bit better, MP management dies in KH1 to MP Rage and MP Gift, so I don't think spamming Thundaga is particularly discouraged for Herc and Hades Cup, and there absolutely is obnoxious mobs(Angel Stars and Invisibles are very obvious contenders, I sure do love the Invisible just leaving the field for a while and then fucking me up with the weird way the flame ring closing hits) Oh and the lack of cute gimmick formations like the ???x Shadows and Round Names absolutely is an L for KH2 I also think it might be because KH1 feels rough and crude in ways KH2 doesn't, so its easier to feel like you just freestyle whatever the fuck you wanna do at the moment rather than figure out how to combo things for 50 seconds straight and apply to everything For Arenas, I am not a huge fan of the Coliseum, it WORKS, and I don't dislike it, but its just a fuckin square with empty stands, what the Underdome lacks is Light, you're effectively trapped in a box, it has More Details which is neat, but its a fucking trapped box without even the pretend-audience stands, if it wasn't so fucking Blue and had some like, windows on the sides, maybe have like Pain and Panic hanging out of one, even just billboard versions, I'd like it more, meanwhile the Well of Souls arena is very bright, its still not super appealing but its got a brightness to it, also most of the battles in the Paradox Cups use the "large" platform where most of them in the normal Cups use the "small" platform, you only get the large one for like Cerberus
@@sarahage3828 people be like nah fam it's $20, but the disney castle training/ make your own battle room is worth the price imo, you will need to download different mods to normally do those fights and this mod has them all in one if you can get to disney castle that is also gummi ship skip is VERY NICE
