  • Never, never leave your RV awning out if there is any chance of a storm. It is a REALLY good idea to never leave the awning out if you leave the RV or this could happen.

    I remember my awning broke years ago, I told my family hey! let me close it & help me out before the storm comes tomorrow! You know what they did? They went out in the middle of the storm and got hit in the forehead with the spring inside snapped while trying to pull it in, all in the middle of the storm. Luckily they're alive and well. But please for the love of god, if someone advises storm prep don't ignore it, it minimizes damages and prevents injury & even death.

    I just love changing awning legs when there is no backer and the metal is all mauled up. I can just hear the customer saying can you please make this disaster look flawless with nothing to work with thanks 😂

      This one wasn't bad and had some good structure behind it.

    Another good job Cameron keeping that senior citizen employed and not allowing him to pulling the wool over your eyes.🤣🤣👍😎 ? Did you used them tri fold rivets ?

    • @hillbillyrv
      @hillbillyrv  2 роки тому

      Nope, not on this. Just regular aluminum rivets.

    Another great video. All I was thinking was waiting for one of you to catch a finger in the mechanism. Cam is becoming quite the character, probably learned from the master.
