Will Ferrell and Rachel Dratch were perfect choices for this. They're what make it work. Their improv, their accents, and their pronunciations make this perfect.
I love Rachel's wide eyed expressions and how it makes her look so crazy!! Lol
Like the old Gloria Swanson actor that Carol Burnett used to impersonate.
Wills accent goes well with these sketches like peanut butter goes well jelly. Without that voice this sketch wouldn't be funny. Whoever linked these two in the script is a genius.

Rachel Dratch did a spectacular job in King of Queens way back when.
I enjoyed her appearances on SNL. True comedic talent.
According to an interview I saw with Jimmy Fallon, he and Will Ferrell try to grope each other under the water during these sketches to try and get the other to laugh and break character.
When KEVIN SPACEY hosted and they did one of these sketches he stuck his FINGER up Jimmy Fallon's butt just for shits and giggles!!
