For anyone wondering, the sword he is using is the Sacred Relic Sword. It's an item you get AFTER beating the game. You cannot get it before beating the game.

That same farm depicted at around 6:57 For lower level players, if you ignore the main farm there, just rest at the site turn to where the cliffs are you can shoot a massive bird with an arrow and he will fall off that cliff. That will net you around 13k per kill if you have golden scarab.

@@greglutrzykowski6746 so if you rest at the site of grace while facing the "normal" farm it will be the cliffs on your left. If you get to the edge of the cliff look quite aways out there is an island or other cliff face. If you watch you will see the big bird thing walking around. The arrows will reach. Positioning is also kinda important play around with where you stand to make it more effective.

For anyone wondering, NG+ is starting the whole game again but with everything you acquired in your first playthrough including maps, weapons, armor etc. Only thing that changes is you start the main story line from the beginning and you have to rediscover all grace you found.
You also lose all of your key items

Cant wait to get here. Here’s another tip: equip the golden scarab and use a gold pickled foul foot for about 50% more runes so if he getting 40k per run you’ll be looking at 60k per run

@@Seanyy That’s why it’s actually better to just ride the horse back up the hill instead of fast traveling. Resting doesn’t end the effect but fast traveling does.

Got here at level 65 with the starscourge great sword. Roughly 15 seconds per run so you definitely don’t need to have beaten the entire game to do this. Just need to be able to do descent damage with preferably an AOE attack
End game at lvl 70...I haven't fought the first boss yet and lvl 65. Four more lvls and I'll get to use the fire night sword or whatever it's called.
Get radahn sword and level it up a bit for the last farm method. Make sure to use the L2 special. It won’t be as fast as the video but its definitely faster than shooting the bird and when you wield it with both hands it becomes dual weapon so you don’t need a two either. You might actually end up loving it like myself. Another thing, I would ignore the golden pickle foot just because you have to farm that shit as well and if you’re decent at math it’s probably the same amount of runes when you count time and effort and going back to that farm area and it doesn’t last long either so it’s definitely not worth it. Just the golden scarab. It might be with this guys method tho for end game use though. PS hit the first group of enemies, run lower and repeat Jump on your horse back to the grace. It takes seconds
You can also use the incantation ancient dragon lightning strike it’s pretty op aoe so you don’t really need to be the game or you can just farm the bird with arrows you get like 17 k with golden scarab and golden pickled fowl foot
Also the sword he is using is the sacred relic sword which you get from the final boss using the remembrance, but if you don’t have it you can use Rhadans remembrance then choose his weapon then you can spam his weapon skill in the middle of the tadpoles

coop is a good way to help you practice against bosses you struggle without giving up your runes. I did that with a few bosses such as the Duo, Fire giant, and Maliketh.
In the mohgwyn palace rune farm he showed theres another rune farm in the exact same spot. So you get a bow and shoot at the big bird across the cliff and agro him to you then the bird will run off the cliff and die. You get 11k runes every time you reset from this with the site of grace. If you use golden scarab or golden fowl feet you can get 17k per reset.
The thing is with NG+ you will loose your sites of grace and ball bearings but other than that you keep everything
Do you keep your medallions? If so you can easily get back to the rune farm using the teleporter
No you don't. Those are story-oriented items that you'll have to get again. Fortunately, you do retain your maps, so just add a marker to relocate them quickly.

@@bread_602 You'll need the medallions for that area by defeating the commander at castle sol, and grabbing the other one at the albinauric area.

What’s funny is I found this rune farm locations on my own playthrough used the sword that scales with faith that does the fire damage., completing the game and coming back with this sword on new game plus jumped me from level 152~ 207 in less than an hour it was fucking broken

I have his sword but only at +6 maybe that’s why I don’t kill them instantly
At the start, go kill the sleeping big dragon. 70k+ runes. All it takes is travel. I started with a wretch. Had to lvl 2 lvls to get 12 STR so I can equip a 1h mace with bleed. Had him down in approx 5 min. Got my character to 34ish.
Plus, there are a few good farming areas to farm depending on level. Videos on UA-cam.
Don’t forget you can run to the site of grace when the dragon tail twitches at death and reset it so you can keep farming the dragon. Just make sure you are on your mount so you can get to the grace fast enough.
for some reason after resting at the grace a couple times the load time for sitting at the grace increases with the sacred relic sword farm
Either you hit additional people or they have golden eyes which means they drop 4-5x more
That because you PS5 is crap.
if youre doing a faith build theres a large bubble horn you can use thats really good and no ones really uses it.
Fire Giant cheese is getting him to go to the South area of the map where there's a small incline... he drops off... goes to phase 2, rinse repeat... ezpz.
That makes it not fun. It is funny though, def would reccomend doing it if you are bad at the game

what do you think about the meta level that everyone talks at about 150? i mean, is it worth to level up so much? I m lv 290 and sometimes a feel confused as i m doing a mistake
imo the sealed tunnel in the Altus plateau is the best for lvl 40 to 60, got me thru those lvls in less than an hour

Is it possible to hop between playthroughs? or are you stuck with that once you start it? and does the loot return like if I wanted two of a legendary weapon, will that same weapon be where I picked it up before?
Just started playthrough 2 now and can confirm you can't hop back to playthrough 1 and it's literally starting all over again but with everything you got from first playthrough.
Will attributes boost damage on the sword of night and flame? Or only upgrading the weapon?
It boosts damage, but like one unit per level. Upgrading the Sword of Night and Flame with Somber Smithing Stones is way more efficient and effective. It becomes a beast at +5, and you can 4-/5-shot the mid-/end-game bosses when it's +9. I was able to upgrade Night and Flame to +6 a little bit after defeating Godrick by using UA-cam videos to locate Somber Smithing Stones 1-6. 7-9 are in the end game portions of the map, and I've yet to go there, but with a +6 Night and Flame, I was able to kill Rennala in just a handful of L2-R1 attacks.

@@sammyw5136 there are lvl 8&9 stones at a tower near the boulder farm in caelid. It’s like top mid of caelid. Idk abt 7
@@Jay-oq3oi Those are regular smithing stones, not SOMBER smithing stones. All the 7-9 Somber stones are in the northern parts of the map.
@@davidxavier4603 INT and FAI, you need 24 for each, and it scales with both of those (starts at D, goes to C at +2)

I'm Level 306 still in my first playthrough.... It takes some grinding and doing co-op but it's worth it....at this level I am still able to be summoned and invade without any long waiting.... If you plan on progressing NG+ and beyond i highly recommend leveling your character between 270 and 310... All the Enemies and Bosses will have more health and they HIT HARDER in NG+ and beyond.
You can get here early by talking to first npc, going to church, getting bloody finger, doing 3 invasions, open 1 of bellfries, touch blood of maiden, then u get summon piece for audience grounds.
My character is level 320 in NG but I had to grind a lot at the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Lost Grace. This is after finishing the game. I needed that to defeat Malenia, Blade of Miquella!
I'm level 350 and it's well over a million to level up. I am on my first run thru as well. About to start a NG+ and I'll end up leveling up even more since we get more runes after starting a NG

How you can get that armor you are using in the beginning of the video
dude the sword of night and flame how did you get that slash to kill all of em im using rotten breath and its efficient but just not quick enough. also if you get a bow ready after killing all the enemies you can shot the bird off to the left and it will run of the cliff you get 11,038 runes for just that and if the birds eyes are red you will get 55,000 runes also if some of the enemies have yellow eyes you will get 10,000 runes for one of them been farming this spot for days i get to 3 million and im like i need a break and now my skills cost just 230,000 so i got some major grind ahead of me
Another tip every new journey after beating the game doubles the amount of runes you get from mob/bosses reaching this is not too difficult. Also everything does more dmg and has more hp to compensate, ng+3 you will be around 400 with mob/bosses matching those stats super fun.
Edit: seems like the biggest jump on rune is just from the on the first new journey i.e J2 after that there is some DR. tyy for letting me know.
Im on ng4 at 316 and its not rlly that bad, i doubt its double and after 3 my runes growth slowed.

No it doesn’t ive tested , I’m currently at j7 and the rune s for each mob are different. In the dark souls games the level of all mobs and bosses cap at j7 but the souls keep going up just not x 2 it seems to be the same for Elden ring

Fort froth is a quick way to get you to lol 30. Run past bats, up the latter. Kill soldiers hop off the side. Repeat
I dont know why when i kill a group of enemies it counts as one enemy for example one enemy 2000 runs when i kill 5 together with a weapon it counts as one 2000??

TLDR Start new game plus, talk to white mask; get the item to go to the farm spot. Farm late game enemies within an hour of new game plus.

I'm level 381 I need twice the runes he does to level up (1,600,830). Just an FYI for people to reference. Farming in NG+ gives you much, much more runes the further NG+'s you go into.

Im curious, i definetely get the idea and want to *max* a character, but is this done intentionally knowing the "meta" is SL 120, and leveling past that will practically lock your character out of multiplayer outside of passworded games.
Or is it that you genuinely dont care for multiplayer? Which is absolutely fine too.
I just find that Elden Ring happens to be alot of people's first souls game, and they over level past 120-125 without knowing that it would actually "ruin" their character by doing so.
Matchmaking only allows you to pair with people 5 levels below or 25 levels above you *might be 35 above but idr*

@@JJFLOPERz thats good, just do keep in mind that the pvp meta has always been 120-125, while the game gets older and more people stop playing, what will be left is the people sticking around for invasions and pvp, which will be at that level. It happens in every souls game, and i think its important to keep that information in mind when level past 120-125.

Its totally fine to just play how you like, i have just found theres alot of people that didnt know about the meta being at that level and regret leveling past it, but then its too late and they need to make a new character

Guys if you want to do a lot of PVP - DO NOT do this, im level 360 and takes sometimes 30+ minutes to find an invasion, level 100-200 it takes max 2-3 mins

meta hasn't been fully established, with the some high requirements and softcaps being very high its looking like 150 for meta, especially as there's alot of overpowered builds. Meta will be fully established when first waves of balancing happens
The game is super New... not everyone has the same free time to Grind as fuck... im just level 97 and 2 Kids to take care of all day..

Lol I’m level 70 mix farm at caelid ruin 4500 runes per minute sneak counter clockwise to backstab the big skull on wheels things, only stealth kills. and I don’t feel like I’m in end game, just finished raya academy. I feel lost because there’s so much to do and always like O what’s that and spend days elsewhere instead of the main quest line.

The boulder farm gets you to 70 in no time. Then the cliff farm gets you to whatever you want to finish the game.

@@austinjoseph2881 the Cliff farm is At the same place where he Shoot his holy wawes.. just need to get yourself a Bow and Arrows and Shoot the Giant Bird from the Other side of the Cliff.. it will AGRO and Run at you without looking and Fall Off the Cliff.. giving you 14K Ruins each Time.. i Farm 2 million Ruins in about 50 minutes that way
I'm lvl 209 I've been doing a lot also all your ruin glitches can be upgraded every journey you start as well as you get more runes

So if you join a friends world and they are close to your level will you not be downscaled?
@@YoMistaWhite69 yeah I never got downscaled I was level 150 and they were around 90-100. Not sure how much of gap it has to be for the downscale to proc

Im level 60 and i can barely get through the castle after the first boss, am I doing something extremely wrong? I mainly just farmed the guys across the dragon bridge that give you 1k per and are super easy to kill if you crit them, and I killed the sleeping dragon in like 20 minutes. I took the gateway behind the third church of marika. I feel like at lvl 60 I should be way father ahead, but I cant get through the castle after the first boss.
Yeah you should be further ahead. Just beat the second boss last night and I'm only level 29...but it says you should be between 45-60 for second boss so idk. Are you using the summoning pool to have multiplayer help? Summon one or two people before running through the castle and it'll be a lot easier. You can summon people and run through a lot of places without them getting sent back.
Also, join others so they can summon you and help them with the first boss a lot so you and they can get better/stronger.
Have you played a souls game before?

Just gotta keep practicing dude. Try to memorize enemy attacks so you can dodge better, and maybe find some better weapons/armor. If you don’t know where to find any just look online, there’s a lot stuff you can read to help you if you’re new to these types of games
I beat him under 2 minutes just by spamming rock sling with meteorite staff. I don't understand how can people stuck with Margit.

The area in Caelid (thru the portal stone north of the 4th church of marika), south of the Beast Priest, and north of the bridge with the dragon on it, has 15-25 mobs that each drop about 1K runes.
They can 1HKO you at early level, but can be taken down pretty early as well. The whole run gives you about 20K runes, which means you can grind out about 10 levels pretty fast in that zone.
It’s not as good as soon as you need more runes than there are mobs to level up, but even then I still go to it when I’m a few thousand short of a level, so I can use my runes without losing them if I f up.
How did you keep your stats when you joined a group? It drops my 50Vit down to like 20

What stats would you recommend to level up for vagabond if your levelling him up and you’re at the beginning doing this method.
This farm is only really doable with that weapon as it's unique ability kills them so fast however if your not at that point I don't recommend doing it as you gain enough runes to level pretty quickly by just exploring and killing bosses and progressing in general. This is useful only after you beat the final boss and have that sword and no longer have major bosses to kill for those bursts of runes. So just keep levelling your main stats for your weapons and make sure your vigour is at minimum around 40 so you don't get one hit at endgame and you should be good.

@@jimmyblackz for starting area I would level vigour to 20 and level it up by 5 every region so you stay on top of one hit kill threshold, then prioritise the minimum stats for whatever weapon you plan to use, after that you get endurance up to the point that you can wear what armour you want to wear with your weapons/shields and after all that then start levelling your main damage stat like strength or dexterity. If you want to use bleed I would level arcane as well but only to how much you need to use those weapons. Then from there it’s personal preference, you could level vigour and endurance if you find yourself too squishy and want a little bit more of a safety net, or you could look to start levelling mind for more use of ashes of war or faith for its buffs and unique weapons that work very well for vagabond later on in the game.
