Having received the money, Ukraine then proceeded to destroy a tiny token amount & refused to destroy the rest of the stockpile. In 2014, Ukraine had 5,434,672 PFM mines and I don't believe that they have destroyed them since 2014.
Ukraine is also using this mine
“War is hell”
Oh but done play unfairly.
The stupid part about mines is no matter which side plants them they may have to deal with their own mines if the front line moves. Say if you planted them on retreat or in the frontline to prevent the enemy from moving forward then if your military move up past that point now your dealing with it yourself instead the intended enemy.
It should be painted golden color then!
Will be more productive
I know who would run to pick them up :)
@@andreapehjerne8490 ohh.. then you are smart.

This is a total lie
Ukraine and Russia both using these mines, so it's fair game. Stop spreading misinformation.
By Ukraine you really mean(American government and Russia use’s them)This isn’t Ukraines war.The puppet master pulls the strings
Dont tell the truth. The Truth is illegal in these days 🤐
neither side has signed the agreement to the ban of these mines. both sides own these mines. the likelyness of them being used is above 0.
0:21 ….except Ukraine. The ignorance of this guy is unbelievable
However, it was not signed by the largest military powers, i.e. the United States, China, Russia, India, Pakistan and Burma.
Not Russian, Ukraine is launches these into Donetsk around civilian population, civilians have been maimed by these mines, think 1 or 2 have died
Dang that tire got massive air.

Doesn't it seem strange to you that the Russian army "8 years" is shelling an allied city. And now, when this city became Russian city continues to mine and shell it? It's easier to take a video from the channel "Крупнокалиберный Переполох" where the Russian guy shows the demining. Аnd then you say "You are shelling yourself". And this same guy is still volunteering in Donbas and shows what horror has been going on there for 8 years. Well done author, keep going...
russia has a right to defend itself so go russia!!
Wow a bunch of bad info in this video. " most armies in the world are using anti-personnel mines" look up the Ottwa treaty before you make a video like this.
Their is an enemy to confront about them, the governments... all we have to do is organize.
What about mines that looks like can of food used by idf in gaza? Is not that supported from us
0:19 holy shite!? that small, and that big of a bang?
The fact that this guy is claimong that russian is using this💀 russians are the ones trying to defuse these😂 and ukraine has been using these since 2014, believe it or not my donbass uncle served for the ukrainian army for a short time in 2015 and he confirmed that they actually threw these, he often met azov legion, the azov legion loved to throw these in civilian areas to "kill the waste in ukraine"
1. "Deliberately designed by the Soviets as a toy": this design is the same as US's own BLU-43 mine.
2. The Ottawa convention: Ukraine (unlike Russia) signed the convention, and requested & got the financial assistance in the amount of €3.3million, to destroy its stockpile of PFM-1 mines. Having received the money, Ukraine then proceeded to destroy a tiny token amount & refused to destroy the rest of the stockpile. The PFM-1 mines violate the treaty and stay armed indefinitely once deployed (guaranteed life over 10yrs).
The Russians use a PFM-1S mine not PFM-1. The difference is, PFM-1S becomes inert within 40hrs of deployment.
Some propaganda, this video is. Draw your own conclusions from the actual facts.
So RUS don't have any PFM-1 left?
@@meowme7644 it's hard to know what they have stored, and whether those can be converted to PFM-1S.
@@AlexKarasev that means they also have "some" in storage too?
These and many more mines are such a shit.
..and they can be converted 4 sure..but is it still "profitable" then (after production)?
@@meowme7644 These mines aren't the only Soviet-era weapon nowadays considered too inhumane or inherently harmful to non-combatants, that the Russians have walked away from. Certain Tochka U munitions and especially the 9M22S incendiary weapon, in addition to the FPM-1 the original, are weapons that the Russians no longer use and the Ukrainians still do.
@@AlexKarasev What about cluster bombs banned in 2010 but now it gets the OK from the USA , NATO , U.N to send them to the Ukrainian to kill Russians ?
Don't worry about Puton > the biggest war criminal is that rat like Zelenski . all about feeding the arms industry and making himself rich at the cost of hundreds of thousands of Ukraine's and Russians ! THE REAL WAR CRIMINALS > USA , U.N .NATO , Boris Johnston and Zelenski !
Both sides use these mate
War is war.Everything’s fair in love and War.Who or what organization can ban the use of anything during war?We would like to know who thinks they run the whole world 🌎
That weapon is not necessary, period, MY OPINION....

You must show us how they work?
Someone should send some to Putler and Shoigu.

biggest liar! Ukrainian army use this mine
No country's should used that is a cowards way too fight and cruel
Ukraine use Them to.
🔥
Hey, just remind you that this mine is a copy of USA's mine......
Quite lame. Theres no personal satisfaction with all mines. You do lots of work to deploy them without ever knowing if even one was effective
they're dropped via cluster bomb .
practically 0 work.
Butterfly mines are by far my favorite, absolutely amazing piece of tech.
Wow
Until you step on one.
@@jacky445 very true, but the point is for soldiers, women, children, you know random civilians to step on them that way the disfigurement or death acts as a deterrent

You mean against the civilian population
How to disable them?
Pretty sure you can't, not safely anyway. I think you pretty much need to cause them to explode. Pretty much shoot them, throw something at them, or hit it with an armored robot.
Not kidding, wack it with a long stick or shoot it
A stick
its so small we can't usually disable them just be away when you think its that thing
@@ASsolanki2002 Movment is what makes it explode, so why it doesn't turn on when dropped from air?
How about inventing a mine reacting light heat wherein a special type of light be flashed with adjustable range of beam to where suspected explosive mines layed either bigger mines like the M-14 mines of the West or the miniscule butterfly mines from Russia, instead of throwing things at them for mines to explode, what if you accidentally throw your water bag, cellphone or wallet, he he!
Mines aren’t “mean”😅
ur a liar man both sides use these and as far as im aware every war since ww2 has had massive civilian casualties on both sides you should make a video about america invading iraq and what they did to the people there

Human is cruel
I used them last week dope af
So edgy
Goofy
how dare they be mean in a war
It says Ukraine admittedly used over 2 million of these mines in the Donbass region alone from 2014-2021, from public information available.
It also states that several western European organizations have investigated Ukraine's claims of Russia using them and came to the conclusion that was not true.
So its really disingenuous to make this video and play the victim here, this is outright lies.
Bullshit these mines are copies of american dragantooth mines!
In origin it was an Italian guy who invented this mine if i remember
a documentary right!?
PFM-1 is an almost exact copy of the American BLU-43/B “Dragontooth” mine. It's all you need to know about this type of mines.
Ukraine was part of the USSR, which is why it has all the types of weapons that Russia has, except nuclear ones.
There is no point in mining the location of your own units even for the sake of provocation. The author is a liar. And this video is cheap propaganda.
0:50 Ukraine used them ... tons of them againist civilian targets
A disgusting weapon
ukraine is losing
It's comical to think that war has "rules".
Your headline is absolutely pathetic. No meaner than a mine you have to bury. Now why do you think mines have evolved from needing to be manually buried in the ground to being launched into an area by a rocket? Well it's to be mean to children of course.
