How to arm And disarm soviet antitank mine.
Dude has more faith in an anti tank mine key than I have in anyone I've ever met
The way the actual detonator fires is when the mine is driven over by a tank. So there needs to be considerable ground pressure. Even if it's armed, unless the cameraman drops the camera on it, they're safe.
It sounds like you need better friends.
do not forget guys, these are SOVIET mines!!! even cheaper then russian mines!
The fact that you are ignorant of how ordnance works does not make this man's behavior unusual, it's by the book ordinary.
@@deltaphaseplutonium-ho8nh Wow, why escalate it, why is he "ignorant"? He made a lighthearted joke.
Magic of UA-cam, looking at gardening videos about how deep to bury tomato plants and ending up being an expert in TM62m arming and disarming
Remember to disarm the tomatoes by twisting them off the stem. If you forget this step there is a risk of choking on the plant.
LOL
Other youtubers are shooting bottles of soda in their backyard and Val is over here arming landmines in a warzone for content
Yeah, but some of those soda bottles are probably out of date, and have been left out in the sun for quite a while. If they’re full fat sodas, that’s another level of danger, as the wasps are likely to converge on them too. Scary……..
Very well explained even as a civy I feel like I could now lay a mine field.
They are nasty,
Bosnians can now potentially be making millions by digging out old mines lol
You could
Who dares wins.

I’ve had a few of these sitting around and always wanted to know how to properly use. Thanks for the video!
🤣
Easy enough if you’re in many parts of western Ukraine. Seems the Ruské donate them now and then, via demining efforts.
He made a tutorial on something 99% of the viewers will never experience
like every tutorial on any topic on UA-cam.
maybe some ukrainians could use it, if they stumble upon an old crate full of them
I hope
he sounds like a Finn...

Ngl was pretty surprised you started to arm it as a demonstration. It was interesting to learn about though. Good luck out there!
Next he will blow up a Russian tank as a demonstration. "Remember to bait them with small arms fire, you want them to chase you around a mine field for maximum impact."

@@christinalaw3375 😂😂😂😂
Dude gives zero fucks lmao
@@christinalaw3375 Funny how it's the Ukris who ran out of tanks.
Clicks on video. "This knowledge should come in handy someday ..."
He prepares anti-tank mine so casually as if he is making pizza dough:)
I have a problem with tanks speeding through the neighbourhood these should help
i'm pretty sure that was a live mine and detonator and not a training aide. fair play to the guy, he's the real deal
I have a dummy of this mine on my shelf, complete with the clock work mechanism. I don't have the key, safety or rubber cover & seal; wish I could find one available in the USA for my collection.
Very cool video.
Thanks now I know how to arm my box of anti-tank mines.
Anti Tank Mines are possibly one of the safest mines for humans out there... I would be shocked if he was playing around with a 50-60 year old ATM, but a new ATM can be jumped on thrown around and still cool with humans...
The problem is that people can booby trap them
@@javant6993 I would think the best way to disarm a mine would be to take cover as far away as practical and then shoot it.
That could work for some mines, but it might not be the best way to deal with antitank mines, simply because the explosives used in the mine are quite resistant to blowing up when shot, burned, but if you were to hit the detonater or booster charge, it would probably detonate the mine. Another option is to remotely lift the mine up, if it's booby trapped it blows up, if it's not you can use it or it's components against the enemy
@@javant6993 Oh right, insensitive explosives. I have seen videos from Ukraine where the demining teams use grappling hooks and a long rope. You would certainly not want to lift the mine out of the ground by hand.
No jumping ^^
Please keep making how-to videos! They're really good
"Expertise in demining" is going onto my CV now. Thanks.
“And remove the safety. Opa!”
Great video man! Now I can make my neighbours dog not to poop on my poarch.
I would love to see a video on small arms armor piercing ammunition or just other types of available ammunition that would be cool love your vids
Unfortunatly we dont have acces to armor piercing ammo, only small batches here and there... Just for curiosity all 5,45 ammo that russians have here is the later AP version, they dont use standart 7N6...

great tutorial, I got some stubborn moles and gophers in my yard that I think I can apply this too.
Watching him tap the mine with the key was reminding me of cartoons where the bomb doesn't go off till a few moments later 😂
I found this to be a very helpful video.
So nice to see you well, man. My best wishes and ... I hope the fundraising will be successful.
Thanks for all the videos recently. Stay safe dude.
Nice!
Finally some useful information.
You're a wealth of knowledge. Thanks
You can easily make that special key yourself in any garage, use an m10 or m12 bolt, drill a hole and put a pipe sprint in it, weld another bolt on top at 90 degrees and adjust length, good to go! Thats what Ukrainian famers are using when disarming these mines in the field!
So happy to see you back making videos again. Stay safe and God speed brother. Also if you know of any ways people can donate to help the cause please reply with links or websites. I'd like to help any way I can. 🙏💪
Hello man! Thank you very much for the kind words, we have direct support by our contact in Czech Republic, he getting stuff for us in european union and bringing it personaly to us PayPal m.valtera@email.cz curentlly we collecting funds for tires for one of our cars, but wait for it, there will be separate video about it soon. Thank you for support!
@@valgear5525 okay man, thanks for the info. I will be donating as much as I can. Be safe out there brother 🙏💪
These videos are awesome man. Very interesting.
This is the type of content internet was made for.
Next we will see restoration videos of extremely rusty landmines! Haha awesome video
That ticking sound. It generally felt damn dangerous. Dude is ice cool. And the comment: "just double stack them" was casually dropped O.O. What a video!
Wonderful video! Thank you!
Don’t ever underestimate your weapons. But you know your job very well ,may God be with you.
Love your content dude ❤️
Can't imagine what my NSA agent is gonna think of this one
Wife: Hi honey, how was your day at work?
Me: Same stuff, but hey i learned how to properly arm and position an anti tank mine during my lunchbreak.
its nice to get this experience/education as a cilvilian. Will never know if youll run into mines like these in Africa middle east or europe. As part Ukrainian myself i wish you gods blessing, id serve with you but god has other plans for me than a soldier
Perfect timing, Walmart has them on sale right now.
Good content as usual.
Thanks! Godspeed!
I’m amazed how UA-cam allows showing how to use a anti tank mine. Then will not allow showing loading a fire arm.
Very nice video
YT won't allow people to show how to load a magazine into an AR-15, but this....
Yup even have videos openly showing people making IEDs 🙄 Clown 🤡 world...
“Oh, hey UA-cam, today I’m going to show you how to arm and disarm a real live anti-tank mine step-by-step.. you know.. just in case”
Awesome!
Very interesting
Outstanding.
great, now I can do something about my soviet mines that lying around in my closet.
Very interesting video, thanks. If I'm allowed to ask, what weight does it take to trigger? Only tanks and heavy trucks or also small car?
By books 160 till 400kg, with civilian cars it depends on speed, and layer underneath the mine, but for infantry soldier in full loadout its no danger at all!
@@valgear5525 if you get a hold of them could you do a video on the German RGW 90 or the DM51 hand grenade?
Noticed when i heard the sound of it arming, i hinched back from my monitor!! This guy is crazy! :D :D haha
Instructif merci
Finally I can protect my back yard!
nice, youtube recommend a video about how to use an antitank mine.
My fed boi probably alerting his boss that im watching & saving this video.
Thank you for this important video on the operation of this mine and it's fuse. The other end of that key looks like it's specialized as well - what is that used for? Lastly, active emplaced landmines are incredibly dangerous and should only be handled by trained personnel like combat engineers, sappers, or EOD. There are nuances to each mine and the potential of anti-tampering devices meant to end person's tinkering where they shouldn't be is quite high for mines employed in real situations.
Always keep a flock of sheep handy for defining as they have 4 legs each.
Bravo😊
Sapper 101; Emplacement of Soviet Anti-mine. Bonus points for anti-tamper and stacking.
I have no idea about antitank mines, but nice watch!
Good !!
Well there you go learn something new every day
Man, these videos give me the heebie jeebies, which is why i do my job and he does his.
What happens if you unscrew the detonator before disarming it?
And also can you explain what anti-lift device is?
You can’t lift it or boom
1. Nothing, if there is no booby trap under it.
2. It's a mine which explodes when you take a pressure out from it's pressure plate. Soviets projected and produced an entire family of them. ML-8 (МЛ-8) is the most common in the field, I suppose.
That's the last time anyone parks on my lawn.
I was planning to order few of these and I just wanted to ask if these are coming with disarming key as well if I opt for the fuse that has disarming keyhole???
very good!!! because who not have a land mine at his garage ?
3:57
always a fun time not telling people about that noise.
Do you have any resupply systemsy like bandolier or bag with goods you just grab?
I don't even own a mine
Why am I watching this
Now I can finally lay my mine field
BOOM!
@valgear where do you find the key? Are the metallic?
I'm glad he showed disarming the mine, all mines should be banned from warfare!
Damn it, my neighbor will be surprised today when he comes home.
Even though I knew it was safe, I'm still just sweating here.
minute 4:13 "it should take about 2 minutes for the mine to be armed". time left on the video: "3minutes"☠☠
Does the disarming key still work once the mine's fully armed? Interesting vid, thanks.
One way to find out! >click!< See? Now It's perfectly sa
Yep, it works. But it's not recommended to do if you are not a specialist. There are a few ways to boobytrap the mine and the fuse itself. Also there is a small (yet real) risk of a manufacturing defect, which could cause troubles.
Yes, but unless it’s a mine laid by yourself and has been guarded at all times, you shouldn’t touch it. There could be anti tampering device installed under it. Place a block of TNT on top of it, move to safe distance away and explode it.
Holy shit that shovel can actually be sold at museums, i have it, it works and looks exactly the same, except for the teeth. 2:53
If you need any new pieces of kit, a vest, plates, parts, weapon attachments or anything else you can think of, let me know. If you know how i can actually get it over there to you i will get you whatever you need.
F%ck the pro-Russian trolls, your videos are sensational - thank you for sharing your knowledge - stay safe.
☺️🖕😂
Two questions, is the trigger weight 100 kilograms, and is there a "tilt rod trigger" like the Yugoslavia mine of days past?
The book says the trigger force is 150-550 kgf for МВЧ-62 and 120-550 kgf for МВП-62. It also says there is МВШ-62, a fuse with a tilt rod.
i just saw this mine being used as satchel charge, just replace detonator with fuse
ทางที่ดีอย่าเอาไปวางเลยดีกส่านะครับ นานวันเข้ามันเก็บกู้ยากมากๆ
😮
It scares me to think how many people out there found this video to be useful....
Would you be able to unscrew the detonator from the mine casing safely if you didn't have a disarming key?
Yes.
the school bus stands no chance
Thanks for the video. Is the pp still active?
Yes Martin, our support guys still handleing and redirecting our sources, thank you very much, but keep in mind that this time the donations is much less urgent than two months ago, and you were already extremely generous to us!!
@@valgear5525 I wish i could do more. Just stay alive, and keep kicking those Orks balls back to Mordor. :-).
How do you pronounce the 62?
MBT 62 sounds like?
Nevertheless, security precautions must be applied, because the first mistake is the last. Long live Algeria
Fallout 4
So we click it and toss it onto the ground, and wait for someone to walk close to it
Though I know this is a safe video, my heart rate strarts to raise as he proceeds... why is that?
What is the backside of the key for?
Did he really do this demonstration with live parts?
I think so.
Good to know ! great video !
is that a live one ?
that arming noise causes me anxiety
So when does the drinking copious amounts of vodka come it?
Just unscrewing the detonator (while armed), is that possible? (of cause the detonator will still be armend.)
can you show us how to defuse the full red MB4-62 detonator?
Older ones yes newer ones lock in place when armed and the prawl trips the firing mechanism if an attempt is made at removal.
